    Morning flyladies :hello:

Echoing Dusty's well wishes re: Mr LWand Bossy's GWS vibes for your head, ionafan. Hugs for the rest of you, whether in need or just because :)

Quick stint at work this morning and then rushing home in the hope I'll catch the third attempt at parcel delivery; I don't even know what's coming but I'm fed up of finding cards shoved through my letterbox!

Because the buzzer is SO quiet, I'll be restricted to flying in the kitchen and lounge until it arrives. I've already WUDUPA and wiped all the surfaces so the floor will be getting its second mopping of the week and I'll see how much of the damp washing I can get ironed too. I missed ONE DAY of feeding the WM and the dirty stuff is piled up again.

I also need to meal plan for the long weekend and write a list so we can blat around Ald! in fifteen minutes (including checkout ) before I collect DD.

    Be back later

Just finishing my coffee. Need to shop today and have written out our evening walk for whilst DD is at sea cadets. Some laundry to fold and the kitchen to sort. My first job of the morning though must be to mow the lawn before it rains. Still haven't painted the newly rendered wall as it hasn't been dry for long enough to get any paint on it- bah!
    Hope all are well?
Mine are grumpy as I have given them a flea in their ears this morning about the mess in the house. Have told them that there will be no pocket money if their rooms (including drawers) are not tidied before tomorrow. Gets you down doesn't it?

Lawn mowed. Grump much improved. Just making a list for BBQ shopping (well, alcohol!) for Sunday. Think it's going to be steep .

LW, hope you and Mr LW are ok? We're all thinking of you and having words with deities of our own choice.

Anyone in for a HHC at 10?

Thanks for GWS wishes - my migraine has hopefully gone for good.

We were supposed to be going to Aquafit this morning but DH hogged the bathroom for so long that we were going to be horribly late. He will probably sulk all day because I said I wasn't going.

After a whole week of messing around he still hasn't finished the painting, and I can't clean and tidy the utility or DR until he has :(
I have worked off some of my frustration at his lack of GUAG by hacksawing through the 2 bolts that held the old toilet seat on, and checked the new seat for fit. It does :)

This morning I shall hang up my rose frames, drive to @ld1 for another garden chair and then disappear into the garden and leave him to his jobs.

Hope you find a nice tree, Bossy.

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all, especially LW.

Will join you in a HH something, Kaz

Can I ask what WUDUPA stands for please?

Washed Up, Dried Up, Put Away!

Just trying to phone the clock repairer... not timewasting, honest, Kaz! In my HHS I have

    - made a decision on a fragile antique chair of sentimental value (keep it in LR, recover the seat to match the hanging drawer on the antique needlework table; tell DGC to keep off it unless they are prepared to sit still! - it will only be used when we have too many visitors to fit on the sofas)
    - dusted said chair and put it in LR
    - made a decision on filing (remove family history papers from single filing drawer under my desk and use the drawer for utilities and other bits which I find very awkward to sort through quickly when they're in a lever arch file) and begun flinging rubbish
    - found picture hooks, hammer, spirit level and tape measure
    - gathered towels and started WM
    - sorted stuff to take to the tip this afternoon

    Not much, but it's a start :o
