hugs dancemum, they will calm down.
that meeting i went to at school the other night one of the strategies they suggested was get people (family students whatever group you are working in) to make a list of the things they have that they take for granted.

i would say you are coming pretty near the top of both of their lists at the moment!

all you can do is your best.

Ds1 has been ranting how I never let him have hobbies and didn't let him join a football team. I'm so upset I feel like giving him a list of all the things he did go to. There is never any happiness shown here whatever I do.

Ds2 screaming because he doesn't have his own room.

    Don't know why I bother.

Hugs dancemum, I was having a chat with DH at bedtime last night about how selfish and ungrateful all five our children can be; DSD is definitely the worst offender in my household. I think we can all relate to that feeling of however hard we try, however much we do, it's never enough. How old is your DS1? Maybe it would help put things into perspective for him if you did remind him of all the other opportunities he's had; teens in particular are guilty of getting all woe-is-me-and-it's-not-fair at the drop of a hat. I know from experience that it's not easy but you know you're doing your best and in time I'm sure your DSs will understand too xx

    Thanks Mrs Mp and Fizz
Ds1 is 17 (ADHD & a typical aspberger) we have given him lots of experiences including swimming, ice skating & dance lessons, skiing/USA/France& Switzerland school trips and lots of together time. He has been on lots of football courses. So I am hopping mad. Think it may be hormones as the house is bothering me today too.

Ds2 is 11 (ASD & anaphylactic to nut)

Hugs Dancemum coping with your sons' conditions must be quite wearing on both you and your DH. Do you get some support from somewhere?

Bathroom finished, Mr L done, DS3 taken to cricket shop and DS1's kit collected whilst there.

Just doing my dinner, DS3 has done and eaten his then I'll just do the cloakroom and I need to make notes for tomorrow, I'm not a natural interviewer.

    Hello
I have been AWOL. I have not caught up with the thread (for the last month or so), so hugs, sticks, spoons, GW vibes, etc where needed.

I am glad you said that Valli - I thought I was losing the plot!

Anyway - I have been busy working & studying. I have had 2 module deadlines over the last 2-3 weeks. Needless to say, I had left things to the last minute, so I was majorly stressed :(
I have also been mega busy work-wise (50+ hours per week - not counting paperwork or study), so the house has taken a back seat.
On the plus side - it is another bank holiday weekend and I don't have a deadline Monday :D Yay!!

I plan to catch up a bit at the weekend in the house & garden. Floors need vaxing & mopping, and other deep cleaning needs doing. The bathroom is yeaugh!

I hope you will have me back :o
