Crowdpleaser, an Etrex for Christmas - fabby! I get laughed at (and tutted) for standing near GZ with my phone app AND my Oregon trying to compare and hunt the cache down!
Flying-wise I did the bathroom when I got home. And cleared off the hallway table I'd cleared off yesterday! At least the living room hasn't descended into a tip again yet :j
Was most entertained by Kaz texting me mid-afternoon asking how my flying was going... I don't tend to do housework when I'm at workwork!
I'd have done the strike through thingy but it's more complicated than I can deal with right now :j
Oh yeah, and a noob question - what's going on with all this frog eating?!?!0 -
Welcome HMF......a frog is a very unpleasant and unpalatable task that you procrastinate over. The idea is by eating your frog early in the day, nothing else you do afterwards will seem so bad by comparison. Often times you will see tadpoles (smaller unpleasant tasks) being referred to and also canetoads (frogs that have gotten bigger for being left so long) all variations on the same theme!

Well I'm off to do something relaxing until this wash load has finished, then I'm going to bed :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
It has been a productive day!
2x washing machine dried outside.
Phoned utilities supplier, paid off debt  caused by supplier reducing my payments too far , switched tariff and set new monthly payment to what I believe will cover my costs for the next year.
Made a couple of phonecalls re room hire for U3A group.
Friend from SW came for a :coffee:, bringing gifts for food bank, and took away all my spare begonias for her garden.
Rose arch no. 2 put up.
Roses and clematis planted to grow over them.
Other climbers planted too.
Helped DH to build the guest bed which he had painted and put back the mattress.
Helped DH to take down curtain pole, remove rings, thread on readymade eyelet curtains and replace pole. The curtains (which are thick and lined) drag on the floor by a couple of inches, so I'm *eventually* going to trim them to just above the radiator and use the offcuts to make cushion covers for the bed, but they will do for now.
Large box of gibble and a wardrobe mirror (very long and thin!) decluttered via FreeCycle.
Better quality gibble shoved in back of car, to go to someone we know for her CS or the associated project which rehomes household goods.
Finished picking blue plastic off the outside of the FF in the utility; cleaned stainless steel, replaced fancy door magnets; moved FF slightly so that there is more storage space to the side of it for Flylady kit consisting of steam cleaner, Dys0n, ironing board and indoor maiden.
Prepared salad lunch with hot potatoes and chicken'n'pasta for tea.
Rang DS1 to check on DGD1 (hopefully returning to nursery in the morning) and DGD2 (teething again).
Rang friend who I took to hospital yesterday to check how she has been today (still in pain but coping - the examination just confirmed a diagnosis that she already knew about, which is unpleasant but not life threatening).
Sat on sofa and fell asleep...zzz....
It looks a lot when I write it all out!
Thanks mrs-mp for your continued help.
Hope your BD goes off chasing the sticks I'm throwing for it, skinty.
Posivibes to Mr LW - didn't know that Drs start work that early! Hope you have a pleasant outing, LW.
Pigpen, sorry to hear about bunny's demise: you gave him a good life. Spoons coming your way to help you and your DD2.
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all in need. Goodnight all :wave:0 -

Having to work round DH doesn't make things easy
Spent a couple of hours helping him with job and course hunting on the laptop and had to have 'proper' lunch with him about instead of my usual snack on work days - oh well.
Had to get a bit ahead as have work tomorrow day and also hairdresser's appointment - won't get much flying done
Still not that much left to do now and still Friday uncluttered ATM :rotfl:
Hope you all have a tremendous Thursday

Morning!
I'm hiding in the spare room. Both littlies came in about 6 and the shoving started. So I've got in the spare bed lol.
Think they are playing / bickering in DD room now.
I have 5 days at home now - woot - today is forecast rain all day so DD and I will just be indoors. She is still a bit unwell so won't want to do much. I want to get all the beds stripped and lighter quilts on.
So I think today I'll start at the top and work my way down today...
Plan for rest of long weekend is gardening and generally chilling out. Must fill ice cube tray - have some @ldi p!mms to sample - I've never tried it before!
Oh, have a friend coming for lunch on Saturday. Not seen her in ages so dropped her a line last night. They are coming to play in the playhouse
Pigpen I'm sorry about your bunny, and about DD2 <have a squeeze - it's not a hug, honest>Bossymoo
