So productive couple of days. Yesterday I bought a portable folding clothes airer which comes with tent pegs so you can pin it into the ground. No more clean washing falling over!

Today I've been into uni and had a meeting about an essay I was struggling with, feel like I understand it all now so I can crack on with that. I'm in the library till 12.30 so I'm going to make a university work timetable that I'll actually stick to then I have a doctors appointment and then I'll go home and catch up on the housework :)

morning all (just) hope everyone is well
hugs good wishes and positive vibes where needed.

just back from governors meeting at school, put a brand new pair of tights on before i left and when i got up after the meeting i realised to my horror the waist elastic was going, one of the other governors was heading the same direction so said hed walk home with me as he needed to go to the shops near my house.
how i managed to keep a straight face hold a conversation and walk in heels while discretely holding on to my waistband to stop them falling round my ankles i dont know (i think he must have thought id got stitch) i did thankfully make it into the house before they collapsed.

looked after the little people last night for a couple of hours while DD2 went roller derby and her fella was at a work meeting. they decided they like it at ours so we can look after them again.

got work soon so will sort out my lists and grab a cuppa then ill make a start this afternoon

Mrs MP I'm just back from a Gov meeting too, my tights are fine thankfully! Just going to quickly write up my report, start thinking about a somewhat difficult email I shall need to write and read all the applications for tomorrow's interviews!

Need to pop to Mr L, Mr M and take DS3 to the cricket suppliers, will try to combine the 3 but doubt he'll be overly impressed after a long day at school!. Actually I may spit them.

Bathroom nearly finished, cloakroom to do.

Stuffing my lunch! Friend been, helped with housework a bit. Mainly we were mooching around upstairs picking up bits of clothes and running the hoover around whilst yapping :D. Signed her up for geocaching so popped off to do an earth cache nearby.
Cake is in the oven. Realised we are joined with the beavers tonight so have made a large traybake in the hope that there is enough to go around. Will ice it and add sprinkles later.
Now time for folding some more washing and will then sit down to figure out how to do the photography bits. Try to save some pennies!

    Howdy

I've stripped and remade 3 beds with summer quilts. I've got two winter singles in a bag for the loft but need to find a home for the ks one too.

My gel manicure chipped. It lasted 6 days. I'm sure this will improve as I get better at applying. Anyway, old one removed. I now have scarlet red with gold glitter :D DD then decided she wanted the same (I don't have a regular polish in red so she has coral with glitter on) so we have (nearly) matching nails :D

She has only just asked for food. So is currently sat here with pink milk and half a bag of hula hoops, ignoring the ham sandwich on her plate...

Kitchen tidied, DW emptied and reloaded, WMx2 done (bedding) but it's rained all day here. I've nowhere left to dry stuff. So the rest can wait.

DS was a bit gutted when I collected them from school club yesterday - the cookies were just about to be put in the oven :( so I think I'll measure out some ingredients ready for after school, we have some mini smarties. So that will keep them occupied while I get a shower (eating them, I mean! I won't leave them with the oven, lol) after - meeting some pals for dinner later.

Also need to book school club for half term... Better do that now...

Ah ha ha, mrs-mp, you made me laugh :rotfl: and remember the time I knocked on my friend's door unannounced; she was surprised to see me and asked if I was ok to which I had to sheepishly reply, "yes, fine thankyou, just my knickers are falling down. Can I use your loo?" :D I had DS2 in the pushchair and was heading out for a walk but a couple of minutes in, they started descending and I just couldn't get them back into place discreetly in the middle of the street. I was having to walk like John Wayne to stop them becoming ankle warmers!

Stayed longer at work than I should have, because my client was down and lonely and just wanted some company I think. We had a coffee and a blether and I hope she's feeling a bit cheerier now :)

I need to look at the list. Quick cuppa and ciggie first though, NATCH.

I cannot believe it is May already!!!!! Where is this year going???????

Squeak back to nursery today.. she is all scabbed over and a lot are scab free already. I did keep her home an extra few days just to be sure.

Spent most of the morning at the B&M and most of the afternoon at The Range. I have a new dustpan and brush so my taped up one can be binned.. I got a new scrubbing brush.. I didn't have one and my tiles need one. I grabbed some baby breakfast for 29p each.. massive saving there! I got the children some new chalks to colour in my garden.. and some new MF cloths... I wanted some tea towels but they only had mf ones and I don't like those. I also got new paintbrushes and white spirit so I can start decorating the back room and the kitchen. Other than that I don't think we got anything interesting.. OH bought plants.. his mum invested in my garden lol.

!!!!!!.. I just peeped out of the window and the cat has ANOTHER mouse.. that is 3 today!!!!!!!!!! I am tying a cowbell to each of her feet!

Best go rescue this dead mouse before it appears in my kitchen and I have a million piles of washing to fold ready to go away later.. And a lasagne to cook for tonights dinner.

Still being lazy with the housework. Have skipped an assignment for the first time but have applied to do my final course in October. Not sure if I'm liking my job tbh but have finished paying for my holiday and looking forward to going in 14 weeks time. Hugs for everyone having a rough time x

Ds1 has been ranting how I never let him have hobbies and didn't let him join a football team. I'm so upset I feel like giving him a list of all the things he did go to. There is never any happiness shown here whatever I do.

Ds2 screaming because he doesn't have his own room.

    Don't know why I bother.
