Did you ask the ex director who he responds to?
Did you ask teh ex director to find you some information on who to contact?
Did you ask for company details of the new entity, even a name would lead to a contact number via google for you on the vast majority of times?
etc
Keep investigating.
Ps, well done on calling them.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
First off got through to receptionist whom told me this hr had been left a couple of months, then passed on to who was financial director, basically when I was in the loop she was like second in command.
She did confirm a take over and the company name, assumed I knew about it,in a roundabout way I did, just said she didn't know whom to contact in the new company, only was doing a little office work, not everyday, assumed tieing up loose ends, couldn't even confirm where my mail was going very very bleak.
All I was told that the new company would probably get in touch in time as still in file after maybe this transition period.
I'm just assuming that the director whom is of retirement age will no longer exist once the full take over is in place,I don't really want to bug new buyer if they don't even know about me,they probably pay more attention to the ones that are doing the job,I'm not to clued up on the 'transition' three month period though,
I'm sorry your questions I didn't ask,0 -

I have done some research with acas now know where i stand on a couple of subject, can i have some advice on how to write a letter to new employer ?0
-
Wrote to new employer no correspondence,
Where do I go next ? Cab bureau ? Tribunal route ?0 -
You were going to CAB a month ago. What did they say?
When did you write to the employer and what did you say? What reason are you considering a tribunal?0 -
Yes I was,but went down another route to try help me out,I rang 'acas',lovely people know there knowledge, was just asked the basic have I got a contractual contract or another type can't remember now,but I had my terms and condition witch stated it was contractual, that's when I was asking about the notice period etc,
Did write over month and half ago, letter was signed for but as to yet no reply.
The so called ex director is still very much in charge as in the quite know someone who still works for the company and every little detail regarding wages etc has to go through her,so maybe she has fobbed me off a little bit,I don't know,
Basically kept the letter short saying that company A employer/director told me you have taken over and would like some information on this and where I stand now.0 -
Could I ask why current employers would get given a p45 and a letter thanking them for working for the company, when I thought A takes over B it's business as usual ?
As previous posts I still have not heard any information, letter, call nothing.0 -
If you got a p45 and no new contract details or a letter to say your employment is continuing with the new company on Blah terms i'd say look for another job. Or it could simply be that they are going through the details of transferring you from PAYE system to the new one. Perhaps you should phone them to confirm but going by your long term sick i'd say they may have considered your unable to fulfil your role and therefore the new company don't want you. Unfortunately the harsh truth of the business world.GC £157.08/150 @26.7.14

Valid point,if the new firm doesn't want me on there books that's fair enough, but surely I should still be paid notice ?
The thing that bugs me about the now old firm I kept them in the loop in everything but they couldn't have the decency to let me know about change over,hr staff leaving etc.0
