Yes ssp 28 weeks worth,Long time ago now,but never company sick pay,

That is the maximum period for SSP. Unless your contract provides for company sick pay then that is all they are obliged to pay.

Presumably you are now claiming ESA?

Yes wasn't until a couple of months after the ssp,as had a slight return to work, but couldn't cope well,so had no option for the esa,I've have had all health assessments etc,so it wasn't couldn't be arsed attitude.
But as said before my employer still didn't understand my health condition even with doctors letters, they requested sick notes etc.
Why I'm still on the books il never know and if it's changed hands well I don't know how they react, having a no hoper on there books.

ah, well that's not quite what you said, "i've never been paid sick pay..."

so, have you tried to contact the new company to confirm your position? can HMRC tell you if they are still specified as being your current employer?

if they are still your employer, could a compromise agreement be made now after all this time? they're not going to keep you on forever as it stands now, but you need current info from them before you can do anything else.

hang on a minute, i've just gone back & had a look at your other thread, linked above. you said 21st April that you were going to contact them, but 6th May said you'd had no reply, so you wrote to them? i think you need to call, there must be a valid phone number listed somewhere. looking at the other thread, i wouldn't be at all surprised if you've been dismissed in January, yes you should have had something to confirm this, has your address changed during the time you've been off sick? this seems all very odd...

The problem with the company was to many people involved,I started off with one hr and my line manager, then they both left and didn't hear a word for 9-10 months, this new hr started had around four meetings with a director/area manager, whom now is just a area and also attended by step in depot managers who didn't know me from Adam.
In the sense of 'sick pay' ssp yes,not company sick pay which some firms do pay not this one,if I had I think I would have been sacked ages ago.
The last letter did not state nothing about termination of employment, nor have I received any holiday payments owed or notice pay,I would have noticed that,I was going to be a next step that the company was going to think about (ill health ground dismissal).

I don't know a lot about this compromise agreement I would like a bit more knowledge on this,
No address change,I did want the company time I didn't want to write then get instant reply,I know it don't work like this.
Will the hmrc still know if someone is still employed ?

I would contact the 'new' company but the name has not been changed yet,

I'm sorry, but i think this going to go around in circles & get nowhere. You need to find out what your current status is with the company. You can ask a 1000 questions on here, but until you know that, it's all pretty pointless.

The least you can do is call hmrc to see if they've still got them as your employer/have they filed a p45 for you. It might take some explaining though as i'm sure hmrc will wonder why you're not contacting them direct.

I either do one or two things
Write a letter again (recorded) stating my status in the company and say I have heard about a take over, will be a bit strange as on the sick leave.
Contact them by phone and ask whom is there personnel is now.
Ring hmrc to see if still live on there books.
    What more can I do,

Call in and speak with them!

Stop farting around and make personal contact with a view to resolving the situation.

Yes well said, the only thing I worry about is,they might think I'm only contacting them because I've heard this news take over and strange I'm the sick currently, personally I would like an end to all but on good terms,

So what if they think that? You either take the bull by the horns and get a resolution or just stay as you are, asking similar questions in 6 months time.
