I won't post my opinion ..... except to say: this is hilarious.

C'mon in, do join in, the water is lovely, it's warming up nicely, just getting ready to light the big brick barbeque (as described jn another entertaining thread) beside the pool.

How big is the teeny tiny area?

This question has been asked on a lot of posts.......

Is it 3 or 4 inches ?, or 2 or 3 feet ?.....If it was me , id do what several other posters said ,show the copy to the next door neighbour and then put a fence up , end of.......

    i would go this rout.

Serve nextdoor with a 14 day notice of intended actions on the land, I.E to erect a fence according to your boundary lines in your documentation. for them to vacate any pots plants etc.
then once the fence is up serve a No trespass notice on neighbor and then erect no trespass signs around your fencing.

let neighbor do all the solicitors fee and routs and defend where needs must with your legal cover to mitigate costs mounting up.

Thank you everyone for your replies.

I've now checked out the law on all this pretty comprehensively = result:D

...and have found out that AN has been doing so too = also a result:D(as it didn't go the way they wanted).

I think they owe me more than a few drinks for all the hours of homework I've had to do checking up on this and the drinks are on them, not me:beer:

Am not sure whether to think "They have the nerve of the devil for all this" or just be grateful that this has helped me clarify clearly the issues in my mind/check in the right direction and got thrown a bit of good luck and informed as to the results of AN's checking (now that was a lucky curve ball there). Think my "grapevine" might be better than theirs....

Well that's sufficient to shut down the thread but it is by no means clear what the outcome was. Neither was it very clear at any point whether you were looking for a physical outcome wrt boundaries or just a way of feeling superior to your neighbors. I'll keep my guess to myself.

I agree. The OP seems to like making things as obscure as possible.

So what do you intend to do with this information?
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

  • I'm not able to give clear details in case AN reads MSE and identifies me.

Apologies to anyone hoping for a blazing row on the thread, as AN sees enough identifying details to "have a go" online, as well as in person.. One "front" is enough to deal with thank you...;)

To protect myself, I have quite specifically told LR in writing that I wish to be notified if AN tries to register my land as theirs...and kept the email.

That'll do the trick, nice plan.
