For a creamy fish pie, I tend to go heavy on the butter and use milk. For a more 'savoury' fish pie, fish stock, chopped capers and a little milk (or none) will give a darker sauce.0 -

We had a chippy in the end, I even braved the horrendous wind and rain to pick it up in person! I think I shocked the woman in the chippy because a) I wasn't !!!!ed and b) I brought a bag from home (for non-Scots, we've just introduced a mandatory charge of 5p for disposable carrier bags) :rotfl:
It was quite well behaved as we paid for 99% of it with a free slots promo that we were both able to take advantage of :money:
Today was a bit grim. Hospital appointments (nothing too bad), followed by lots of sitting in traffic jams in the rain. I then got into work ridiculously late (think after 1) and failed to get my thoughts straight for the rest of the afternoon. Followed by sitting in the car for an hour in a traffic jam on the way home. Might not sound that bad, but it's 3.5 miles by road
£100 to the EF, made c. £5 from some free slots offers this evening and some P2P lending money has started to trickle out into investments.
Now to close a few N@tionwide accounts if their call centre is still open...0 -
Chippy tea sounds awesome! I hope everything's okay (re: hospital) and good luck closing your accounts...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
