In funny money news, my R@tesetter account is now £50 better off after another referral completed (effectively £15 from referral and £35 from me as we split the difference)
Free money is good, but the recent referrals have temporarily dropped my blended rate a little as monthly rates are considerably lower than my usual 5 year terms.
On the plus side, my Funding C1rcle account rate is creeping up. Considering referring Mrs E for another £100 between us, but the minimum investment of £1,000 is a little rich to throw around casually. Still, it would be a 10% return on the investment, so I may front her the money from my spare cash.
One of my higher rate lenders has suggested that they won't have any new loans for a while, so will need to sweat the assets that I already have.
£2,888.67 @ 6.69% after tax is my total for now.
Spent £40 on a limited edition bottle of whisky0 -

Thanks INOD, it was a wee Glenmorange, so fairly mass market. Not usually my sort of thing, but was impressed by their recent Tùsail0

I still have 2 bottles of the 25 year old bushmills Millenium. I paid £14 each in 1990 through a group barrel buy. I just worry that the parasites may neck it at some point.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I have a couple of nice bottles that I am keeping by including a Balblair 1983 (year of my birth). I have never heard of a group barrel buy before0

:o:o This is what happens when I don't come on for a couple of days - I was referring to your thread, honest :rotfl:post 2685 up the top, about bank transfers. Ourcornercottage was involved in the convo :A

I thought that was what you meant, just checking that I hadn't deprived someone else's thread of your pearls of wisdom0

I would ask friends family or colleagues if they know of a good osteopath. I have a brilliant guy who clicks me back into position every 10/12 weeks so that I dont suffer the recurring back problems.
I always think that doctors can only give pain killers and to me pain killers mask the pain so you might be harming your back even more. i prefer to go to a specialist. If you find an osteopath you trust then then they are worth every penny. I never have to go and see him more than once, so not like physio where its ongoing.0 -
I had already considered an osteopath, there's one just a few streets away0

This seems good advice.
My cousin's husband visits an osteopath every few months; apparently she's very pretty, so not sure whether he goes for genuine reasons or not. From what he's said, osteopaths seem rather expensive (£65 for 30 minutes).2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000
