Have you had any luck with the auction yet?

Unfortuntely not, got a bum steer from the auctioneer. They suggested that, while my bottle was collectable, the market was oversubscribed and that I should wait. 3 months later and the value has fallen by about £100. Hey ho, shall hang on to it and see what transpires.
From what he's said, osteopaths seem rather expensive (£65 for 30 minutes).

Is he definitely seeing an osteopath and not going to the pub? :D

NHS suggest £35-40 is normal, our local practices are all at the lower end of that.
  • My osteopath costs £40 per 30 mins but I claim half of that back through Simpl3y H3alth
I would honestly pay more (but dont tell him that) as he can stop the pain should it get to that point. As I said I go as a preventative measure when I feel my back starting to go.
He is quite good looking ....but thats not my reason for going :rotfl:

I'm working on a theory that everybody finds their osteopath attractive because they reduce pain ;)

Another day, another dollar! Off to see an osteopath this morning. Not expecting to find them overly attractive as it is a chap :rotfl:

Invested another £200 or so in Funding C1rcle, total P2P is now £3,151.83 @ a blended rate of 6.57% after tax. Most of the new loans picked up this morning were in the 12.5-13% range, slightly lower than the current, fixed rate they're offering for similar loans, but perfectly good for the purposes of diversification.

Last (and definitely not least), I got another R@tesetter referral from a lovely forumite who didn't want to split the difference and asked me to pay it into DD's account. She is going to end up as one rich little baby! :T
  • Hi Ed

Hopefully things will pick up for the whisky in a few months. :) Is it usually a particularly volatile market?

I've no idea what he does whilst he's there but paying £65 to a pretty girl sounds like it could be fun, so I'm still waiting for the invitation. If it doesn't come soon, I may just have to send a link to my cousin about the recommended price.

Think you're doing it all wrong seeing a chap, personally... :p Seriously, I hope it's been worth it and you'll get a good night's sleep now.

Hope the osteopath visit did the trick.

Love reading your diary Ed, always reminds me I should be making my money work harder for me :)

The osteopath made things *worse* :(

I have been to my GP this morning who gave me stronger painkillers, a self referral for physio and I picked up some heat pads on the way home as well.

Have been out and bought cards for Mrs E's birthday, a present from me and a present from DD. Being a Dad is the gift that keeps on giving (or is that taking)? :rotfl:

In money news, referral came through for another MFWer, so that's another £50 in my R@tesetter balance (£15 from referral, £35 from me as we split the difference on my referral cashback)

I am liking the everybody wins side of introducing people to investing :D
  • Sorry about the osteopath
Is it worse or worse but will be better soon as they have fixed it?
What did they say it was ?

Worse as in they've moved and intensified the pain, no useful insight beyond what I could have told him. Have to say I wasn't impressed. I basically got a massage and shifted pain.
