That's pretty much right
The only difference is that we don't have to accept the highest offer (or any offer) if they are tied up in complex chains etc.I've always worked on the assumption that it takes a year to sell a house, really doesn't seem to be the case for you!
I live in a popular area with lots of utility about 3 miles from city centre offices etc. and about another mile from snooty areas with cafes, delis etc. Doesn't suit us anymore, but we've had fun.It's easy to feel sorry for them until you're living the "dream" ...
I think my dream features more contractors than yours Alex, trying to own my own limitations here
