Scales wouldn't connect to (pretty new) phone, app was also buggy as hell and refused to let me register. This also meant that the watch was useless, as I couldn't even get it to set up.0

Not sure if really funny or really creepy. Our courier left 3 parcels with a neighbour today. On the 'while you were out' type card, he left his name under the 'Name' field and 'sexylady' under the field for our neighbour's name :eek:0

The 220 has struck me as the best combination of fancy and value for money so far. Almost all the features of the £220+ ones for £120 or so.0

I don't want to be mean to her, but she's a pretty average looking girl, none too bright either (sent her post to our flat for a month, even after having the mistake pointed out to her) :rotfl:0 -
What a lot's gone on! How much sleep debt are you still in, Ed? Are you having a good Sunday?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I think I'm doing a bit better today. I let Mrs E have the lie in yesterday and was up at 03:00 and 06:00 with DD. By dinner time I had the black dog around my throat and felt the old familiar lethargy. We were going out to see friends and had a nice time, ended up staying up 'til nearly midnight and sainted daughter slept right through! :A
We have a local holiday tomorrow, so this feels more like a Saturday. We were visited by my heavily pregnant little sister and my youngest brother, which was a lot of fun. I've also got pho round two simmering away on the stove, 9 hours in and the smell is killing me with drooling :j
I had a quarterly review with my new manager on Friday and while they are a wee bit lacking in personality, they might be just what I need. A straight arrow, long served and with no discernable ego about their career. Some practical steps were taken that should make my role a bit less stressful and a bit more demanding, neither of which are bad things. Still thinking about 'what's next', but not willing to jump into anything until DD sleeps through the night and I have a clear head. For the first time in a long while, the thought of being in my current job for a little while yet doesn't fill me with panic, so kudos to new manager.
This week will be tough. Despite it only being a 4 day week, I'm training in Edinburgh at the end of the week for a couple of days, a 100 mile round trip.
Plugging away with the savings, topping up the P2P and enjoying my long weekend.0 -

This sounds positive, apart from the sleepless nights but that's the price you pay for having a child, unfortunately. Glad to hear work is not going so bad and agree it would be good to wait until your daughter is sleeping through the night.2018 totals:
