Looking forward to your spending diary
I think you've got a bit of a reason for spending more lately!

Too tired to even figure out how to start a blog, your energy amazes me!
Do investing and P2P lending count? Probably not until I have a lot more stashed.0 -
So keep going, Ed, find a way to get the cost of those lunches down further - look at Martin's Demotivator tool for starters
Hope today's a bit better.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Willpower is no match for sleep deprivation KC!
The only way I could have lowered costs this week would have been with better planning, I failed on that front. Will pick up some sarny ingredients, yoghurts etc. at the weekend. Daft not to, there's enough money in the food budget to cover packed lunches, whereas bought lunches come straight out of my pocket (as a penance of sorts).
Work slightly less dire, but very subjective atm. Highlight of day has been quieting a screaming baby through the magic of speaker phone- £5.90 to savings
- £100 to P2P lending

What a lovely highlight
And probably very much appreciated by Mrs E (assuming it was your own baby you were quietening)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
New manager tried to bust my chops about an out of date document that had flip all to do with me. Politely emailed over the 15 pages of update recommendations I had written 6 months ago that was ignored by her then boss
Spending diary updated, thank goodness it's Friday tomorrow!0
