Hope all goes well tomorrow for you both x xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Thanks all, sure it will be better than I suspect!Work will be ok Ed, is Mrs E just planning a quiet day?
I don't think she has any specific plans, but she does seem to be very prepared for this early in the morning, probably just adapting to the new routine.
When did getting to sleep between 02:30 and 06:30 become a luxury? :rotfl:
£5 to savings, all this work will pass.0 -

Oh Lord, that was tough, thoughts of my girls and FI never far away!
What is it about my place of work? They have messed up my wages for both May and June, have contacted HR, but unimpressed. How hard can it be to pay a chap for his fortnight with his baby? All they had to do was pay me my normal wages
Managed to go out for a very slow 5k run this evening, pleased with that- £5 to savings
- £100 to P2P lending
- £6 or so from some MBs
Zonked! Hope everyone had a good day.0 -
Glad you made it home in one piece. I'm sure your girls gave you a great welcome home'
At my last place of work, HR were always making mistakes with with things like pay and holiday allowance. If it's anything other than a bog standard full timer working a full time week, they struggle to cope!
