Time is going soooo slowly. I want it to be Friday already!!


I honestly think I will cry if we fail the home inspection... been thinking about Derek every single day since we met him (okay so that's only 4 days ago but still!)... even if we do pass, won't be able to collect him until next Thursday!!


Okay, breathe, I've waited 8 years to adopt a cat, another week won't kill me...

Quite possibly actually - why hadn't I thought of that?!


Gave me a little thrill though to see that they've mentioned Derek being reserved on their Facebook page - I wanted to add a comment saying "I did that!" (I didn't, thought it might look silly and also I don't want to tempt fate).

I am sure you will pass. and Derek will have a new 'forever' home.
I love the name - you gonna shorten it to Del? or Del boy'?

my cat was originally called 'Barney', but I call him 'Barnes'............OH calls him Barney Rubble, and occasionaly he gets called BarnabyBarnesRubbleTrubble!
doesn't really matter - he answers to all of them (when in the mood to do so).

Haha, the staff at the cattery call him Del Boy! I will have to see how it goes... see if comes across as more a Del or a Derek!

awww - the staff 'nickname' him! how sweet! he must be a real charmer - like the 'real' Del Boy!
could have been worse - he could have been called 'Rodney'. but you COULD call him 'Dave' then! (that will only make sense to fans of 'Only Fools and Horses').
