I think it is important. They used a mechanism designed for cross-community matters to block something that is party political. It's clear misuse of the nonsense system that we have in place, and as far as I can make out does not reflect the views of the public at large.

These days my views seem to be going with a party that historically had paramilitry links .Because of these historical links I simply couldn't vote for them.
So that rules out SF, DUP, PUP and Ulster Unionist. The only major parties without paramilitary roots or links (at various times) are SDLP and Alliance.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
