  • just a quickie before I sign off, I have one too and it is fab, I can't rate it highly enough. I have two under twos and was using cloth nappies and it's made a huge difference. I can now keep up with the rate that they get through clothes at nursery!!!

I had one for last winter and it is the most useful item. Clothes get dry in a day and it holds a lot. Worth the money
  • I have used a dehumidifier for a couple of years now and at the same time as drying your washing it also gets rid of any moisture in the air from the washing that could cause damp in your home. I had to replace the dehumidifier a couple of weeks ago and got this in the argos sale for £40, it has gone up in price but it's still cheap for a dehumidifier and it works great.

is it noisy and large and do you leave it on all the time? i suppose it uses more electric than the airer.im in a 2 up 2 down and it would need to be in my bedroom

Thanks for this! I was going to buy a dehumidifier this weekend for over £100, but now I've reserved this one at my local argos to try instead! :)

  • Ive got one of lakelands heated airer than you can use on or off. I live in tiny flat no outside space and no raditors so its the only way to spend up drying or come winter the clothes go mouldy smell before they dry.

Also helps to heat the room I find works better if cover with clean duvet cover so that the heat is kept inside and it drys much faster.
  • Hi all,

I could be posting in the wrong place here, but I am certainly after one of those 3 tier heated airers. A friend of mine highly recommended one and said she got hers from Lakeland, and is full or praise for it.
I am getting one, it's a matter of trying to buy one at a good price, whilst still ensuring I have a good product too. Wonder if any of you good folks purchased a 3 tier one at any place other than Lakeland?

    Lakeland is £74.99
    Telegraph shop is £69.99
    E-bay is £64.99

This isn't an exhausted search, but a decent one, however I can't quite fathom if these are exactly the same products? Telegraph one has slighly smaller dimensions (2 cms smaller!), but apart from that they all seem to be the same. However reviews on 3 tier heated airers appear to suggest that not are all made the same.

What would you guys suggest I do? all are free p&p, should I just go with the security of Lakeland and pay the extra money?

It is electrical. It moves in lots of ways so it could easily get broken and/or not work. Try getting your money back in a couple of years from an ebay seller. Give me lakeland every time
