How are you all getting on with the jam maker? I ordered one today and am prepared to do battle with the instruction book. Have any of you any failsafe recipes?

I went in yesterday and never saw anything on special at all really.
I did buy the small deep fat frier, we haven't had chips for ages and I was gettting a craving.
One thing I would say is brilliant is the onion bag, I haven't had to bin any since I bought it last month.
Forgot to get one of those big laundry baskets so I'll have to go back

Chester had quite a few reduced bits yesterday. Why not give your store a call - they are always so helpful.

I never bought the spud bag, I fell in love with the wicker spud basket and just had to have one. I keep the carrots in there aswell, and I now have to watch the dogs by it as they love carrots ;)

Julian Graves stock the easiyo sachets if you have one near you

According to the Lakeland catologue I looked at recently, Julian Graves charge more for Easiyo sachets. I think theirs are about £9.99 per pack, wheras Lakeland's are 5 packs for £2.99. I have no idea though if the catalogue was current as I quickly picked it up while at a friends.

If you are buying mail order though it may work out evens?

Quite right. I meant £9.99 - that must have been wishful thinking on my part!
