Anyone with one of those burger makers how are they for homemade veggie burgers? I do like the look of them as when ever I try hm burgers they fall to bits no matter what I use to bind them together!

My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.

I have some of these and have found that quite a bit of condensation is in the bag (even when I've sucked the air out with my old sucker-pump thingy!) and it makes the carrots or spuds wet - even had to throw some lovely Chantenay carrots away

Do they have a limited life do you know? How many times do you re-use them?

    This thread is WRONG!!!!

Mods please delete it before I go bankrupt!!!! :D

I wish everyone would stop tempting me with thoughts of all the loveliness in store at Lakeland.

The burger press is now calling to me..... The lock n lock boxes have my name on..... Even that daft banana slicer is whispering in my ear that I should at least have a look....

Thank goodness the store doesn't open on Sundays!!! :rotfl:

I love Lakeland!! I have their adjust a slice bread knife, it works brilliant on nice warm homemade bread!! Saves the kids hacking big chunks out of it  Love the lock 'n lock boxes, the bakeware, the craft stuff, I love looking through the catalogues and could spend a small fortune.. Oh and I have the burger maker too, makes even sized, good looking burgers that the whole family love and when my sister came over from Holland she wanted one! Some things are expensive and a bit silly.

I am getting a burger press :D have convinced my partner that I will use it and it is not a gimmick and he's agreed to get me one as a present :D should also be getting one of those adjustable bread knives as I have the doorstop bread problem too! It's quite funny, most men will buy jewellery or flowers for a partner, mine asked me to send him links to things I want from lakeland! :D a match made in heaven I say ;)
