Lakeland products

I'm with everyone else - Lakeland products are (generally) well worth paying a little extra for. Like other people have mentioned, they have excellent customer service and an excellent returns policy. I imagine that they aren't mentioned on the "Vent" board at all.......
Like thriftlady and sophiesmum, I live my life by clippits. DH gets told off if he doesn't use a clippit on a bag! :rotfl: He also requested (this is the man who is allergic to shopping) that some friends bought him a Lakeland burger maker for his 30th birthday. My mum was so impressed, that she asked for one for Christmas!
We've also got a fair amount of Lock and Locks, which are in very regular usage. They're also perfect for camping.
lil me - Lakeland is still family owned and family run by the Rayner brothers (their dad started it). I imagine that some of their items do come from similar suppliers to Kleeneze.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Lakeland tinfoil is the best ever. I also agree that their customer service is fabulous.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

I have bought some very good things from Lakeland over the years. I do look through the catalogue at times though, and wonder just who has got the cupboard space for some of the items.0

I just love the microwave pan - its a sort of saucepan with perforated lid and is just perfect for vegatables. Anyone who sees me use it asks where I buy it.
Freezer bags, clippits, and lock and lock are all regular buys.

Their bread slicer thing is brilliant... no more wiggly wedgy sliced bread!

Had to chuckle when I read the OP -
Yesterday we received the Lakeland Catalogue (yet another one) in the post. There's a running joke in our house that if we see anything we like in a Lakeland catalogue if we wait a few months Kleeneze or Betterware will be doing it. Lo and behold today both these catalogues arrived within a few minutes of each other.
Seriously though in our experience whatever is in the Lakeland catalogue (with the exception of their freezer bags) is available in any High Street, the bigger Wilkinsons stores in particular, or any good cook shop. Also Aldi and Lidl have done some really good kitchen items - though I think Aldi has the edge on quality.0 -

Some products like this can actually be useful for people with joint problems etc
Best thing I've bought from them so far is the small salad spinner http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!2623_7621 which dries the salad with just one push of the button. More expensive than I'd have liked but soooo much less effort on a bad day than the ordinary spinner and very sturdy. The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -
I like Klippits-great for fastening bags for the freezer . I usually keep one in my handbag so if I eat half a packet of nuts or something when I'm out I can seal up the rest of the bag for later.
Their big rolls of cling film are marvellous-I know they are expensive but they last for ages and the cling film doesn't tear into shreds when you try to take it off the roll like some cheaper varieties.
Also their oven cleaner-the one you apply with a brush is pretty good.0
