Their bread slicer thing is brilliant... no more wiggly wedgy sliced bread!
I've got my eye on the burger press now.. BIL is a butcher so cheap meat!!
Ooo thanks for this - been after one of these for a while as my bread cutting skills aren't that great. I have often looked in our local Lakeland (Solihull)for one of these but they never have them, are they only available online?
We buy several bits and bobs from Lakeland - one of my favourites is their apple corer/slicer. Its great for cutting up apples for my three year old as it means there is less waste. Their liquorice is also a favourite in our house.

Lakeland's customer service is brilliant. I bought a large Remoska from them when I lived in a tiny cottage with no room for an oven. I emailed them over two years later to say that I was disappointed to find the non-stick was flaking off the rim a bit, where the lid had been rubbing against it. They sent me a brand new one, no questions asked, and collected the old one, all at their expense. (Before you ask, a Remoska is a bit like an electric frying pan, with the element in the lid. You can do just about anything in it that you can do in an oven. It's expensive, but I reckon it must have paid for itself in saved electricity since I bought it. Now I have an oven, but I still prefer the Remoska for most things!)0

Lakeland I think is expensive but mostly their products are good. Their sales are always brilliant. Few weeks back we went to BW store and go some pull through bag things for the car....you tie a knot in the end then pull as much as you need then its a bag to put rubbish in. Priced at £4.99 normally, they were reduced to 99p each with a free refill, so we bought 4 as its ideal for the car etc.
Also in store they do free samples of all their bags and dustbin liners, so I grabbed loads:D ...and every 3-4 months they send me and OH a free voucher to collect something from the store. Last time it was a free packet each of Grab a bag...normally £5.50 each:eek:    ...and they were a very good quality bag, infact I still have loads left.

I like Klippits-great for fastening bags for the freezer . I usually keep one in my handbag so if I eat half a packet of nuts or something when I'm out I can seal up the rest of the bag for later.
Their big rolls of cling film are marvellous-I know they are expensive but they last for ages and the cling film doesn't tear into shreds when you try to take it off the roll like some cheaper varieties.
Also their oven cleaner-the one you apply with a brush is pretty good.
I only recently bought their cleaner and its brilliant - only use a little at a time too so it will last me for ages.
Like loads of their stuff and always get the pick a bag as the free gift - love em.0 -
are their bags for storing potatoes in any good ? I've been swithering about trying them0

But *why* would anyone spend money on clippits or similar when clothes pegs do the job just as well at a fraction of the cost?0

I believe they create an airtight seal, rather than just keep the bag closed.
That said, pegs do me fine.
If someone could explain this to me, I'd be most greatful. :think:0
