Baby scan photos and photos of kids in the bath are weird too. Is nothing private any more??

I can understand the bath Tay but aren't baby scan photos a happy thing? :D

I really don't see the need for them at all. Perhaps the family would be interested in seeing them (in which case there's email and PMs), but it's a bit TMI and intimate for public display IMHO. Maybe I'm weird? :o

I'm sat in my works cafe right now which reminded me that the woman who serves is always either on her phone or looking on Facebook. The other day I popped in for a bag of crisps and she was on her phone and didn't stop chatting whilst serving me. Now that is bad manners!

Over the weekend I noticed a picture of a friend on Facebook taken at some event or other with a really short dress on and her fake boobs spilling over the top of her dress (she's 42 btw). No problem but her 8 year old son is on her friends list and will see what she posts plus in the past I've seen pictures of her tonguing her friends or sucking their nipples (she's married BTW). I mean !!!!!! it's not big or clever. I've unfollowed her because ok not a problem if your audience is over 18 but having her child on her friends list who sees all this is so wrong IMHO.

Makes me raise my eyebrows I must admit. I do wonder how low the self depravity would actually go. I sometimes think I'm naive and a bit of a frump at times but then I realise actually no I'm not; just that some peoples morals and standards have sunk way too low.

Plus they all look the same anyway. *waits to get flamed*

today on FB I have also seen pictures of: someone at some kind of exercise class, and a child's first tooth that has just come out.

Oh and I forgot to say a different friend of mine/her husband seems to have this obsession with taking pictures of their child on the loo, literally almost every picture I have seen of the girl is of her on the loo! Argh

I deleted a friend of a friend for a similar reason. Every single one of her statuses (and there were many) were about her toddlers' bodily wastes. In detail. I felt mortified on behalf of the children.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

People are very contradictory when it comes to phones. They often say 'I called or text (insert persons name here) and they never answer. Why bother having a phone if you ignore it!' Then when they're out and people don't ignore their phones bleeping its 'well how rude. Can't they live without their phone for an hour and have a real conversation'. And expect people to ignore their phones.

    You can't win.

I have a phone. All my friends have phones. If it bleeps, we answer it.

I will say I don't have alerts set for FB or twitter or anything like that, I have a Facebook account because I have family dotted around the place and it's convenient was to keep in contact with everyone. But I couldn't be less interested in immediately knowing when someone posts so have alerts turned off. So my phone will only alert me to phone calls or SMS messages.
