You don't seem to get it, both activities are illegal to under 18's. So if they were happy to serve your "son" alcohol of course they would let him play a fruit machine.0

no because he has an id showing he is old enough.if the pub had asked and seen this then I wouldn't be as fuming as I am now because it woud have been his own fault.0

Terribly poor parenting. I despair.0

You are a terrible and irresponsible parent, please have no more children until you learn basic parenting.
If you feel you need any further explanation regarding this post please read this post from the beginning.
If you are struggling to read it, I can write the above in brightly colour crayons on some sugar paper and post it to you. Just reply with your address.0 -

It can be assumed that most 16 year olds have capacity to make these decisions (c.f Fraser guidelines). The only one to blame for your son's actions is your son. You shouldn't be trying to bail him out but instead trying to use this as a life lesson. And that's the difference between good and bad parenting.0 -
So previously you were happy with the fact he was drinking underage and using fake ID to break the law? This has got to be a wind-up."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

So he's got id (ok it's fake) showing he's over 18, how was the pub being irresponsible?0
