I had been hoping to get the order placed for these items today because the ice-skating lessons are at the end of this week!

I just use a sponge bought for 85p. Its one for washing your car. I just stick it down the back of my trousers. Had a few hard falls and its protected me well.

I also wear skinny jeggings when skating as the boot leg ones I ususally way are a great trap for the blade to get caught in.

    Hope you're enjoying your lessons.

I am off in the morning for another practice. Our local rink do a 'social ice' session between 9-11:30. It is cheaper than normal and you get a hot drink! Can't wait again.

    How did you get on?

We have to travel quite a distance to get to the rink so we only go to our lessons and therefore we do not get to practice during the week. :(

Sorry to hear that. Are you feeling any better now?

It took me that long to respond that you had posted an update before mine was posted. :o

    Hi everyone!

I went tonight and passd my stage 1 and 2!! Yippee :T

That was only after 3 lessons but obvs was quite easy stuff. We're off next week again with it being bank holiday and then back after to move on to stage 3. We can even buy certificates and badges! I might just do that as a boost!
