If it's O% finance it might be worth it, as as you say cashback will probably allow you to overpay the OD sooner.
Just make sure you still budget for that bed right through to when you said you would so that it is getting paid off...
I am forever jiggity jigging my budget too! lol2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)

Budget already updated and it means can reduce my OD to £500 in September and clear it in March.
My very rough calculations adding up debt cost (OD interest) and cash back will give me around an extra £150!
Also brings by overall DF date next year forward by a month.
Plus... I'll have a NEW BED. Will be able to sleeeeeeeeep. When husband or I move a millimetre in the night it won't sound and feel like we're on scrap heap challenge. Oh happy day!!!Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Hello Shire
Just having a peruse on MSE and really enjoy your diary.
I feel your bed pain. We were thinking of getting a new one as ours is old and lumpy. Went away recently and had the four worst nights sleep ever. Back home and our bed suddenly feels like a favourite pair of comfortable slippers! Sorted.

Tesco banking website finally up and running again and my refund has been processed, so that's another chunk off that CC.
Was looking back at my initial end dates, and that card was due to be cleared in September - will actually be cleared NEXT MONTH!!! :TDebt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Pretty sure today will be a NSD.
Still recovering from the trauma yesterday of Lidl being out of prosecco. There's only so many times you can walk up and down the booze section before people start to whisper.
Anyway, not only a NSD, but have made £20, or will have later this week. I have a 'spare' sofa that was given to me last year which I took on because I knew a friend would need it who was moving. She's had it a year but now had new furniture so gave it back. Stuck it on a local for sale FB page and a couple have just been to look at it and want it, to collect next week! Hurrah.
I feel a bit peculiar selling something that was given to me, but, obviously, I manage to get over it.
Was going to put that £20 on the credit card balance but hadn't thought about Fathers' Day, when I will get something for husband's daughter to get for him.
Also, husband has informed me he is taking me away for our first wedding anniversary early next month, which I have completely not planned for. Certainly I wasn't thinking of anything lavish, so will have to work all that out.Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

Another NSD.
Plus a very frugal tea. Went off the menu plan as husband is feeling a bit under the weather so was cooking for one.
Drained can of chickpeas. Mixed with a tablespoon of oil and a good shake of paprika then cooked on a baking tray for half an hour. Like little crunchy crisp balls. Plus tin of value peaches and the last of some yoghurt that needed using up. Also some wine that was unnecessarily taking up space in the fridge!Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE

I get quite fed up the middle two weeks of the month.
All the start of the month transactions have gone out.
I haven't had new bills (shockingly tragic to look forward to bills), eg mobile, for the next month yet so am just floating around in DFW limbo.Debt 2008 - Approx £20k | April 2014 £6526 | 30 October 2015 DEBT FREE
