    No Lancashire MIT.
The other day though a gentleman and his wife came from Banff, and it took him 6.5 hours to get to us with a few stops on the way.
He comes over once a year and does a massive shop. They spend all day there as there is a good restaurant and then another good coffee shop.

In December there is meant to be some more better bargains. I'm looking out for the Radley stuff and then I can resell them on ebay. :j
Going to bed for my first early night in ages, really tired now, yawn.

Good morning everyone, I got up early to say it was my weekend off. Got up at 9am, wow that's a first.
Listing plenty on Ebay, burning some sausages under the grill as I have been on the phone too long and forgot about them.

Even paid £5 extra off one of my credit cards, bloomin heck it gets better as the day goes on.
Sold two books off Amazon which I had never done before.
Clearing my wardrobe to see what else I can sell then I can have more money to buy nice xmas pressies and pay some more off credit cards.

Have a nice day all xxx
  • MIT is very sad :-(
My boys didnt win even though we nearly had heart attacks watching. I went to the pub to watch with a couple of mates and spent a tenner :o . Only had 2 shandies as well lol. Then got a chippy on way home and kids wanted some too( even though they had been fed) so I spent another tenner :o . Kids were moaning again that there was no food ( they really mean no snacky stuff) So I bought cakes and last but not least paid £20 for a haircut :o:o:o . At least I did it all with cash.

Got my hair cut as I said then proceeded to put on a big sparkly hat with the Scotland flag on it for the footie so all flat now. Was a fantastic atmosphere in the pub even though we were [strike]robbed[/strike] beaten graciously.

As you can tell I have spent too much today so will have to really really tighten my belt the rest of the week Ach well I had fun and got catching up with wonderful friends. A nice day with no pressure. Here's hoping for many more of them .

Binnie overpayments always feel great xx

  • Evening all. I love Christmas I just hate all the money we spend on it :D .
Spent £32 on shopping today. Might actually manage my £200 challenge this month but it is hard going I tell you. Bought some biccies and chocolates from M&S. Biccies were 2 for £5 and chocs were only £2.99 and they are really fab. We got them last year and they were just delish. I have loads of old Aunts and neighbours etc who buy for the kids and I always get them a wee token gift. Will get some more next week. All adds up though.
My wee mum took me for lunch today yum yum. Then she got me to build a couple of flatpacks for her .......she got her money's worth  .

Not much to tell on the moneysaving unfortunately as there is no spare at the moment. So so glad I dont know my pin number for my credit card as I could go mad. I am really in the mood for shopping till I drop but managed to look around on here at ebay etc and spend nothing. Bloody hard this but I am soooo scared I end up back where I started after all the hard work I've put in xx

Sorry your guys lost at the footie MIT (I may be English but I don't support footie so I'm allowed to be sympathetic!).

Keep up the resolve with the money saving/plain just not spending. I know you can do it, you're far more disciplined than I am. One thing my fall from the DFW wagon last month taught me is that potentially I think I will always be tempted to over-spend, which is quite depressing (for some reason I think I just thought by getting rid of my debt I'd be cured  ).

I'm also disappointed that I won't be DF by the end of this year, but on a positive note I've just realised that my debt is now below £1000 - for the first time in about a decade.

  • Red thats fab and you will definately be free next year. Other than a big win I will be here for a long time. Never mind I'll get there. It's not worth it if you dont have to struggle. Humph who am I kidding lol
