Good morning
I am going to have a mega housework day today. House is like a pit. Will make the kids help me as well as they are lazy wee gits. If I stay in it means I wont spend any money which is all good. Just checked my account and no maintenance in this week  . I will give the benefit of the doubt and assume it is delayed but if not then I am going to go mental. It's only £25 but it goes a long way to paying the weekly shopping.
I have no bread but rather than going to the shop I am just going to put on the breadmaker. We like that better anyway. Will do a menu plan and a shopping list for tomorrow. I was trying to shop a day later each week and have actually managed to wait 3 extra days this week but need stuff for packed lunches and fruit so will have to go tomorrow.
Got the results from my DS's CT scan. His middle ear appears fine but there seems to be problems with his left ear. I couldnt understand the jargon but we are due to see the consultant on 26th so will hopefully get some answers then.
I have told the kids that after the new year we will be starting to save for Glasgow 2014. I am so excited about this as we stay so close we can go to loads of things. I know we shouldnt save when we have debt but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity on our doorstep so I want to go to lots and lots of events. It will be amazing.
Ok am off to lok at a couple of threads then to start the housework x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hello, I'm back. Had a short break in Spain to celebrate my new job starting on Monday.
Came off the dole before I went, and then hubbie whisked me away for a few days in the sun.
Even managed to watch Secret Millionaire over there. I ended up crying through most of it.
Going out tonight to a posh dinner dance, gonna sneak in a cheap bottle of baileys type drink to slurp on , not paying their extortinate prices.
Hope everyone is well.:beer:0 -

Spent £22.25 today on shopping. Got loads though. Mostly smart price but my kids are happy so long as they have plenty to eat. Got a top for bil that was £8 on ticket and £4 at till. Got SIL a lovely necklace and earring set for £5 but will put it in a fancy box without the GEORGE sticker and it will look dead funky. My brother took pics of the kids and I today and omg I really need a haircut . ( need to lose 4 stone and get a face lift too) But eek my hair is a mega mess. I am going to really tighten the belt this week and get it cut at the weekend.
mmmmmm just had a lovely big bit of hot, just out the oven gingerbread. Yum
