Dee - enjoy the mystery while it lasts, before you know it the only conversation you get is "what's for tea?" (the fridge is all of 8ft from his chair), and streams of expletives when the internet goes on the fritz (which it has been for the last week, and as I type I know I'm on borrowed time!)1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0 -
Nah neither have I Red lol . Got the main pressies on interest free credit and will do my damndest to pay them off when they are due.
I have to pay for the bed I got DS at the beginning of January and should manage that. The rest are next August or something.
Spent 90p today. I would have spent noting so far during this week if I wasn't such a chocoholic. Have got a chocolate cake in the oven just now to see if it will curb my spending tomorrow. Going to try and wait to go shoping until Monday or Tuesday so I can keep up with going a day later each week.
I am feeling a tad guilty as i have booked a haircut for Saturday. Ilook in the mirror and think ach it's tidy it'll do, but my brother took some pics of me and the kids at the weekend and I am horrified at the state of me. My hair is a mess so I need to bite the bullet and get it done. Cant go to the college or anything as I am always working. Never mind it'll give me a wee pickmeup.

Congratulations on the quidco payout. It would be nice to have a little bonus coming in every so often but I can never seem to find anything I want to buy through it.
Know what you mean about the hair - it's been 6 months since I've had mine cut  (yes I am starting to look like Marge Simpson!). My hairdresser is reasonably cheap but I've been putting it off because I've been going there for the last 20 years (how the hell did that happen!?!) and I'm a little bit bored of the same old cut and colour despite what I ask for, but I'm terrified of going to a new person. However, it must be done before christmas, so that's going to be my christmas present to myself, I'm going to go to my friends hairdresser because I always like how her hair has been done, only problem is that he is in the £150 range for cut and colour    (and for that amount I want animated hair).
Looks like I'll end up using my Boots points to get everyone else's presents:o1st April 2008 challenge:mad: xmas overspend = [strike]£254.05[/strike] £0:j......cc1 = [strike]£240.78[/strike] £0:j .......cc2 = [strike]£667.47[/strike] £0 :j ...amount owed to ISA = [strike]£1599.90[/strike] £0:jTOTAL TO GO = [strike]£2762.20[/strike] £0 !!! DONE IT DONE IT DONE IT!!!:dance:0 -
£150.00   . I would want the haircut, a tan, waxed, polished, buffed, manicure the lot for that lol. It must be the scotswoman coming out in me.
I am sitting watching children in need and Runrig were on singing Loch Lomond. OMG I was nearly in tears. Loch Lomond is just up the road from me and that is a very special song. My heart is swelling. This place is bouncing with excitement gor the footie tomorrow. We have a big fundraising event locally each year and today hundreds and thousands of people were going to work in their Scotland tops. We had flags all around the windows at work and on the walls. It was brilliant.
I have another chest infection. Really need to get it knocked on the head and get some energy going. Got some antibiotics today so fingers crossed.
OMG Ronan and the boys were just on :slurp:
Quidco have paid out £60 to me today. I thought they only paid once per month. Not complaining mind you as loads to pay for.
Spent £1.49 on a pack of biccies in M&S today. All done and were delish.
Getting really low on food now so wil need to do a stocktake and menu plan before shopping on Monday. Will get the kids to choose a couple of meals each so they will be happy enough. Hope everyone is well x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hiya Everyone, Sorry I haven't been around, tried to log on a few times but it wouldn't let me.
Anyway one tired Binnie here. Work has gone well, but my little legs ache. I stand up all day in one spot on a main checkout in a large discount designer store.
My ankles look like Nora Batty and her tights.
It is so busy working there, mornings fly by, but when it gets to about 4pm and theres still two hours to go, then it drags a bit as the customers tend to disappear for a while.
Been working with a Buddy from Monday to friday. Then today worked on my own till. I think I did ok, still a lot to learn I think.
The girls are lovely, they think I'm as mad as a hatter and we all get on great.
There are about 800 staff who work there and all work different shifts, everybody helps you and if you get a very long queue, then they get queue busters to help and pack etc.
Today I even managed to get such a good bargain. The sell Royal Doulton there and had some Crystal Vases at £50. Today they had a sale for the public with 50% off. Staff got an extra 50% off the reduced price, and the 10% we normally get too, so in the end the vase only cost me £11 something.
It's going to be a great gift for someone.
Trouble is, they sell so much stuff there and it;s all lovely, it's going to be hard to control my spending.
I'm trying to stay in the works canteen at lunch time and then I can't go wandering through the store or to Asda which is on the same premises.
Get my first wage on the 7th Dec whoo hoo. :beer:0 -
