got back from our short little hol on monday, i'm covered in really gross itchy bites all on my arm, about 50 bites in total.
but on the plus side we took £100 each (boyf and i) and spent just £140 in all. really chuffed and chilled.
can use the dosh we saved for some cream for my arm!
having a blitz on the house tomorrow, doing meal plans etc - going to get my totals down and sort out some bills. strange that i am excited over doing that, isn't it?
  • nah tifn I get excited about that too. Maybe I should get a life and get real things to get excited about.
I've said on here before my DS is having dizzy spells and attending the doc. He has a high sleeper bed and when he is ill it is an absolute nightmare getting him down from it and tbh he says it makes him feel much worse when he is up there. I ordered him a new bed today which will arrive on Monday. I got it on 3 months interest free credit so will need to e-bay like crazy to try and pay it before the interest kicks in.
Put a few things on e-bay today and have about another dozen to put on tomorrow. Sold another CD on Amazon but pennies really for it. I put some old cassettes on Amazon today and I still have about 50 books on it.
My mate used to run a restaurant and gave me a few black dresses ages ago. I have never worn them so I have put them onto e-bay too. They would be fab for Christmas so hopefully they will go.
Kids are off for the next week but then so am I as I have a med cert for 2 weeks.
Cant believe the difference cash wise this month as I was a bit cleverer at the start of the month and didnt just pay off as much as I could. Only thing is I am being quite bad and havent much left in the food budget so I better pull my horns in and quickly. Going to be hard with the kids off of school and eating everything in sight. Oh well my magination will have to kick in and the bread maker can get dusted off as I have plenty of ingredients for bread etc. I'll also make loads of soup and do some baking. Going to try and keep the shopping down to about £25 this week.
    Take care xx

  • My son is still unwell lunar. Had him back at consultants on Monday and he is to have another scan. They had been chatting during his tests and I went on internet to see what they were talking about and it looks like part of his problem is vertigo. Wee soul had told me his dizzy was worse whilst he was in bed ( he has a high sleeper) and I didnt really believe him but i have ordered him a divan bed and freecycled his high sleeper and we will see how he goes. Got the bed on 3 months interest free so quite MSE. :D .
Ok am doing the housework challenge today with hypno and friends so I better get my !!! in gear. Laters x

hey there mit, that M&S total is looking fantastic!

how are we all doing on the weightloss ladies? I am drinking white grape juice tonight as boyf has gone out without me!

i have been grazing on bits while i am so bored, so far I have had my tea (which was yum), followed by a piece of apple and pear pie (reduced in morrisons) with low fat custard (which defeats the object if you have half a tin, a chicken sandwich with extra light mayo and a bowl of olives. lets say i'll be "maintaining" next week!

hope the kiddo is feeling better soon, maybe this new bed is going to help improve how he does. x
  • Thanks tifn
I am eating junk food by the barrel load just now but weighed myself today and still the same so not too worried.
House looks a bit better than this morning thanks to the housework challenge with Hypno and gang today.
Got three bin bags away to charity shop.
I have 19 items on e-bay and over 100 on amazon. My poor wee house must have been bustin at the seams before my LBM as I have sold and cleared so much and not bought hardly anything and it still seems full.
Will hopefully get enough from the sales to pay off M&S and put towards the patio.
Someone is coming topick up my DS's bed over the weekend as I freecycled it.
My pal is coming by tomorrow to hopefully take away my treadmill. It is brand new but it hurts my back to use it and I havent been able to sell it.
Wowee before I know it I will be an organised person.
Kept shopping to under £30 today as I had a voucher for Farmfoods so I did my shopping there. Managed to get almost everything except barley.
Am going to do some comps now x

  • DS and I are off to see Ray Quinn tonight ( wee guy from x-factor last year) DS loved him and I bought the tickets before LBM. I am looking forward to it tbh.
Need to go and get felt for rabbit hutch have no idea what it will cost though.
Ok am away to make some Chicken Korma for dinner. No doubt the kids will look at it as if it's poison but too bad thats what I want.
