aren't we all doing well.
soon we're going to be a bunch of skinny fit birds with pockets full of cash, no debts and big brains crammed with money saving ideas.
we'll be like the spice girls. or maybe not.
• Good evening all. I have been a piggy today. Am disgusted with myself tbh and will be straight back on diet tomorrow. Have overspent today also  . I bought lunch and brekkie in the canteen and it was rotten. My home made lunch would have tasted much better. Bought my friends lunch too:eek: . I must be getting myself mixed up with someone aho has money !!!

Got a call from Thomsons directories today so should earn a wee extra £70- £100 next month to pay to my 3 debts by Christmas challenge.
Sopjiesmum I havent had any more mice thank god but I have used so much expanding foam to fill up holes its a wonder my house isnt higher than the rest of the row.:rotfl: .

Tifn you are doing great with your weight loss. Good for you. I'm not going to stress too much about losing it cos it took years to go on and if it takes a while to come off then c'est la vie.Lunar you are doing well too

Dee thats the same club I go to. I prefer the green days as I am not a huge meat eater. I tend to have meat days at the weekend so I can have my cooked brekkie.

I have anight out tomorrow. Retirement do but getting a lift from a tee total mate and it is in a bowling club so cheap drink:j . I am going to have a grand night but want to keep my spend to <£25.

have a good time at the bowling club.
if its anything like our local bowling club you will not need £25 - the lager at ours is referred to as "loony juice", "jungle juice", "the mad stuff" - people look at each other knowingly if you're going to it as if to say "you are going to be ill".
and if you buy shorts and mixers its really cheap too at bowling clubs, like parish centres (the rougher ones though, not ones that do functions, they're dearer).
ooh, and working mens clubs can be quite cheap to go to too. would be funny to go in one glammed up for a night out and have a half of stout.
i should start a moneysaving boozer thread. quite early to be talking about drink, i'm just having my morning coffee!

Why do people have to :spam: on a thread!!
• lol I thought they were just being sarcastic . Duh silly me. OMG I have the hangover from hell today. I hardly ever drink and get drunk really easy. Had a huge rally to go to today as they are trying to close our local hospital and had my mum in her wheelchair with me. There were about 20,000 people there at least. TV from BBC and STV and most of the papers. Atmosphere was great. Cam home and lay down and woke up 4 hours later. OOps. Havent done DDs newspaper round and house is mega untidy but to hell with it all until tomorrow. Never again :) Just going to sit and die quietly tonight.
Sold a book on amazon but only £1. I really hope more go as I have over 80 listed.
I have not spent anything today. Basically cos I'm skint. Totally peed off as ex is away on hols and the maintenance hasnt arrived. Its for reasons like that that he is an ex.
I cant spend anything for 10 days cos I have my loan to pay and will just have enough to do so.
Ho hum!!

MiT, just think of how you will feel when you don't have to say things like "can't spend any money for ... days".
You've been at this for 2 months and had to contend with a [EMAIL="tight@rse"]tight@rse[/EMAIL] ex and the school holidays and you have still managed to pay off £1000. Not only that but you haven't added to your debts.
I think you're doing smashingly well if you ask me!
Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.
MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.
2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.
• Aww thanks Kaz. You're right I just cant wait until I have some spare cash. I know there is a reason for this but it gets a bit boring some days. I was tempted earlier cos I could have just taken my credit card and gone and done a huge shop, bought junk, had a chinese etc etc and thank god I gave the card to my mum and would be too embarassed to ask for it.
sheesh this has been a right waste of a day today. The devil drink :o . Oh well I only spent a fiver so nice cheap night.
