  • :j orthodontist didn't charge for retainer. Will need to give my mum back her £20 but thats fine as I still save £24 :j . Need to get £25 into my other account to pay for loan. Transferred £30 today and will transfer £25 on Thursday from tax credits. Still means I have used my £100 overdraft but if there is any extra money left over then I will pay some of that back. Had to buy petrol today so no NSD. No other spends though so not too bad. Hope everyone is well xx

  • Hi SS yes it was a relief. Arrived in the post today as well so that's fab. Got £5.75 from paypal today so have paid that off of Halifax. Feels good starting overpaying this debt as it is my biggest one and will be nice to see it going down. Went to slimming club but stayed the same this week. Am not too bothered tbh as I wasn't that good over the weekend so am happy not to have put any on. Really shattered tonight and going to go to bed early. Take care x

Hi MIT, im trying to get caught up on everyone. hope everything is going well. you are doing really well with the weight loss, i really need to get something done now, im hoping for a wii fit for christmas but want to get some baby weight lost before that. Staying the same weight is half the battle, and is pretty good going if you have had a bad week!

  • hello! Nice to hear from you Lunar. Never mind the weight for a wee while. Enjoy your baby. Worry about it when you need to go back to work and get it off then.
Well looks like the scratchcard gravy train is over for me  . I can't get into any of my accounts. I think they might all be suspended or something. Only one I can use is Take a Break one but I dont think st.minver do that one. Just took a tenner out from them at the weekend too  . Never mind it was great whilst it lasted. Free money and all that. Just got my DS's christmas pressie tonight. Cant say hat it is as he might read this but am glad to get it. Got it on 6mnths interest free so dont need to think about it until next year. Just done my budget for next month and looks like it might be a tight one. Hell what's new !! :rotfl: . Don't think I am going to manage to get under 13k for New Year but hey I will have made a huge hole in it and figures are keeping reducing so thats the main thing. Mortgage and secured loan have gone down by about £15 so thats another wee bitty for the coffers. Oh I have a P.M hope its pics lol

Oh - bad news about the scratch cards. I've been following the scratch card saga, and have a few accounts with st Minver myself.;)
just wondered how long it took before you were rumbled, and how many accounts you had.
  • Hi Lexie. I managed to get about £100 out of them. I had 7 accounts. Got my final tenner today so paid that to Halifax account. Lost 3lbs again tonight at slimming club so am pleased with that. I am really dreading Christmas as I am just back on track after weaving well off the track for a wee while and I can just see the costs piling up in front of my eyes!! Never mind, we will have fun. Kids are having a Halloween party this Friday so have spent a fair bit on that and will be spending some more tomorrow for food. Not had to use the cc though as I have managed to do it in cash.Am tired tonight as have had a busy week so far. Hope everyone is good x. Lunar where's me pics???

  • £29 from lottery. Yay! Haven't won anything in ages so that' s nice. Not going to manage either challenge by the looks of things. Not too bothered as I have had an amazing month. I have overpaid by loads. I have knocked a couple of months off of my debt free date as well. I have started on Christmas too. Got my ds's pressie at ARGOS on 6 months interest free. Not adding that until later on as I wont even think about it until it is nearly due to be paid next year. I am due to renew my car insurance and my house insurance so I will go through Quidco or topcashback and that will more or less pay for it anyway. Dont you just love cashback?
Been getting all organised tonight for Halloween. I am organising some stuff in work tomorrow so went shopping tonight for it all and also got the other things I need for the party we are having here tomorrow. House is all decorated and looks funky. Kids are mega hyper. Thank god they are at school tomorrow as I might commit a murder lol as they are doing my head in. Ok going to bed now to get a good sleep. Take care and Happy Halloween !

  • jEEZ WHAT A BUSY COUPLE OF DAYS. oops soz caps on. Had all the fun etc in work yesterday and came home and had 2 different parties. 1 for each child. . Am I mad ?? Yes I just might be :rotfl: . Had 5 lassies staying over. Tbh they were fine. Were asleep by 2.30am. Had to shop today for a jacket for DD. Got one for £35 so put that on my New Look card and will pay it next month. Paid my bills but will have to try and make up some cash to my account by the end of the month. Not going to do any grocery shopping until Monday if I can manage it as I am sick to death of shopping during the madness that is the weekend. I dont have to go at the weekend so I am going to try and stop doing it. Have given myself a £280 budget again this month for shopping ( failed last month) but not going to do any other challenges. If I get any extra money in then I will pay it staraight off of my Halifax card as I am going to concentrate on that one for a while. I hope everyone is well x
