My road to being a millionaire - I wish

i am so exhausted, meant to be revising but brain is on standby.
i was thinking about listing some stuff on ebay but the fees are awful, but i have an evil plan.
i sold some stuff and one guy messaged me to say if i ever had any similar items he would buy them off me. i have emailed him about some bits and pieces and he is still interested! so i am going to email him some pics and negotiate on the price from there.
not sure how to deal with payment though - would probably make sense to still use paypal - or should i ask for a personal cheque?
is binnie out there for advice? actually anyone will do!0 -
oh and our car got crashed into yesterday, not a good week overall but at least no injuries.
pics of crash are amazing - pm me if you want to be in awe of "how did she manage that??!"
its like one of those emails you get sent round where you're all cofused about how the car managed to get where it did!0 -
Hi Tiff,
I've done things like this before and sold off ebay and mentioned I have a few other similar items to the person buying.
I usually send them a paypal invoice, or get them to do a bank transfer.
Just got up and checked my sales from yesterday, about 10 auctions ended without a buy  , can't believe it as my stuff is a good price.
It's getting tougher is ebay. Wish I could find somewhere else to sell my wares, but other auction sites aren't as popular.

thanks binnie, will get onto it this afternoon.0

Tif Photos are hilarious. Just realised after reading this that it isnt you who crashed. I thought you had done some amazing parking there or something. Binnie that is a right bummer. I am going to be putting some stuff on e-bay but have so far only taken the pics. I always put my stuff on for 10 days to make sure I get 2 weekends out of them. I try and always have them finishing on a Sunday as loads of people seem to browse on Sundays. So I will try and keep Thursday night free this week to list the stuff. I have got to get my !!! in gear today though and do my assignment and stop procrastinating. Not even going to get out of my pj's. Kids are going to their dads for a couple of hours so I will have perfect peace and no excuses. I am being really silly tbh cos if I get this diploma then I can move onto another job and will earn buckets more.
Had a wee bingo win paid into my account yesterday £32 but couldnt pay anything off the debt as both kids needed shoes:(. DD got a pair of dolly shoes in the sale and DS got a cheap pair of Reeboks in the sale. Also bought DD 2 tops for school. Spent £38 on the lot. Not bad eh? DD was ripping the face off of me wanting UGG boots as 'everybody' has them. Yeah right.!!
I might get her the fake ones next week when I get paid as a treat for an excellent school report. Ok I am off to do some boring housework essentials and then hit the books. Will be back later no doubt xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

NSD for me today YAY. Have managed to do half of my assignment as well so I am well chuffed with that. Will do the rest tomorrow as I am knackered now. Going to try and get organised as much as I can for the coming week so that I have free time in the evenings to tweak my assignment. Hope you are all well x5 Year plan. Sounds like everyone's catching up on the housework this weekend. So far I have:
- had a major tidyup of the bedroom and sorted through all the various piles of clothes
- scrubbed the mould off the bedroom wall and ceiling (nice_pale_, the wallpaper's now stuffed but hey-ho you can barely see it beneath the window)
- done 3 loads of machine wash
- done 3 loads of hand washing (rendering the shower unusable for the next 2 days whilst everything drip-dries)
- got rid of the nasty sticky gunge that the liquid-tabs left on 2 dresses (damn you Somerfield:mad: )
- hemmed 2 pairs of trousers and a skirt
- fixed a loose clasp on a skirt and a hole in a cardy sleeve
- patched a random hole in a top that I predict I'll need to lose a stone to fit into
- fixed loose stitching on a dress that I'll probably never wear because I have no parties to go to

:rotfl: @ Red. We've had our tea. DD works in the local chippy from 5pm on a Sunday so we have dinner at 4 when they come back from their dad's. I made chicken with campbells condensed soup with rice. Was delicious. Kids of course gave me their usual critique which I really dont welcome. 2 choices on my menu are eat it ,or dont. Their choice hehe. They ate it surprise surprise and no-one was sick or crying and begging me not to cook it again so I reckon it was a success. Had to laugh the other night at dd's parents evening when she told her Home Economics teacher that I should be in her job cos I am the best cook ever ... her words not mine and then she slags off everything I cook. Maybe I should just feed them on chicken nuggets and the likes and be damned. EEEw no chance !!
So DD is at work and DS is at his pals. Peace perfect peace. In fact I have had a lovely peaceful day which is a rarity in this house.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

OH may be a bit oblivious to most things but one thing he does know not to do is criticise anything I cook - no matter how bad:rotfl: . He'd much rather eat my worst creations than cook something himself.
No sign yet of acknowledgement from OH that we have a kitchen. I'll give it 30-45 mins before he asks if we have anything in for tea.
