  • You have a lovely excuse for missing it. Your mind is elsewhere Lunar. Hardly spent anything today and sold 3 books on Amazon so will pay that off of Sony card when it comes in. £12.44 was paid into my account as well and I dont know where it has come from yet. I think it might be another bingo payout but I'll wait and see when my account is updated and may pay that off it too. I just love overpayments. x

  • good Evening!! I have had a nice cheap day. I got my child benefit and lifted £20 as I had parcels for Amazon to post and kids took lunch money but no spend other than that. The £12.44 I got into my account was money from ciao for surveys done. I had forgotten about it tbh. Paid that and another £9 so £21.44 off of Sony card. I am desperately going fot it to get rid of this before I need to pay any more interest on it. Sony had the bloody cheek to offer me 0% interest until Novemeber after removing my rate for being a day late with my payment. So I will get rid of this and then transfer the money into my 2 bank accounts and get rid of the overdrafts and then hammer that debt along with Argos and make sure I pay no more interest on those 2 debts. Thats the plan. I wonder how quickly life will kick in and b*gger it up  . Really really happy I am back on track cos I feel as if I have done very little since before Christmas. Am all excited again lol x

Glad to hear you're feeling more positive MIT. Today's essentially been a NSD for me as I had to go to London for a meeting so I'll be able to claim lunch back on expenses (considering how much the allowance is, it's a good job I'm on a diet).

Know what you mean about getting a bit fed up. I'm not as brave (or as disciplined) as you so I daredn't pay off as much as I could at the beginning of the month, and by the second week after payday I'm getting fed up with not seeing the totals reduce. Saying that, hopefully I'll have been tight enough to have nearly £400 left this month to pay into my ISA. Still think I'll struggle to meet my 1st April target, but you never know.

  • Red I never make my targets or if I do (like the under 40k one) I end up blowing it by buying a computer or something. :o . Never mind at least it is going down.

Hey guess what I did yesterday. I e-mailed my Halifax cc account and asked them to lower (yes lower) my limit :j . It gave me quite a buzz I can tell you. Usually I am begging for an increase.
