So we had the main car which was going to be everyone but me (including SIL exboyfriend) OH refused to get in so we went in the second car.

There was a lot of talk of Auntie the 'rock' and MIL doting on her grandchildren etc.

SIL had got roses for us to put in with MIL auntie got one as did ex boyfriend but uncle and other auntie didn't.

Wake included sitting with mate in front of OH showing off some of the jewellery.

OH is sobbing, I didn't drink in order to make sure I didn't say or do anything said nothing to the nasty lot sat with the nice lot, hugged nice lot byebye ignored nasty lot.

The way to look at it is that you never ever have to see these people again if you don't want to - and that includes acknowledging them in the street.

The vicar (or whoever gave the eulogy just repeats what they've been told by whoever they've met - unless of course it was one of the family that had an axe to grind.

It was a mix.

Don't worry I will not be in a room with them ever again.

The flowers from Mr Cat were lovely. He's been fed had a quick love and has gone out I am going home to sort out OH back over there about 9 for a couple of hours.

Had some support from my brother (as had OH) one of the cousins (who also gets the treatment) was there and he clocked my face as we were leaving.
