Melly Don't knock yourself out cleaning . Mind need to see the true picture of how hard everything is . Everything is down to you and you don't have the energy at the moment to do everything .
Sorry your husband had another meltdown - that happened last time you had someone coming and he must be stressed and anxious . Whether he'll engage or not just let the meeting go ahead , they need to get some support in place .
Thanks for the get better wishes . I do feel a bit more energetic today .
I do get the need you have for headspace away from everything just don't carry too heavy bags or I'll have to shout at you

Exactly
He's panicking so we have meltdown behaviour.
Not overcleaning making sure they see his hoarding think it's important.
I know carrying 2 bags wipes me out now so have to be careful.

I am thinking I may just leave OH to it with them
Without me there to support him they will get a truer picture I think.0 -
That's not a bad plan melly, unless he might put on his best behaviour for them?
They can always catch up with you after if there's anything they want to check. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
He may well be best behaviour
But they should see the confusion which will rule I think0 -
Melly that's a really good idea and probably the only way they will see the true reality of the situation and how urgently he needs help .
I very much doubt he will be able to engage or hide his meltdowns .
It's tough love but may be the best thing you can do to move things forward . Do you intend to speak to them as they arrive ? Could be worth doing so and saying the situation has brought you to your knees despite all your best efforts and they need to deal with him without you doing it for him . Of course they need to see you afterwards but let them in and leave them to it for a while .

Have spoken to them
They said we shall see how he is
If he seems up to it then I can leave them to it.0 -
Are you ok Melly ? You are very quiet or maybe sleeping .

Melly that's such a good outcome . I'm so pleased he is happy with the mentor , that's so important .
Looks like this really could be the year of good things .
Any word yet from Housing or ED ? You're on a roll at the moment so maybe the pieces will all slot into place .
Get yourself to sleep and good luck to you both .
Love
