Had a lovely chat with one of the neighbours
She is the one who doesnt like cats yet is feeding the kittens.
She has also been trying to rehome them
Said it looks very much like upstairs doesn't actually want them and that's why the kitten are out for 48 hour stretches
Following this other neighbours are coming round to our way of thinking.
This is nice.

I'm feeling pants too - since New Year's Day.
Very flu-ey, sore throat, hacking cough - and I think I've pulled a muscle in my groin with coughing.
Spent all yesterday on the sofa and then slept for 10 hours last night.
Desperately want the Christmas decorations gone but not sure that I feel up to taking all the baubles off the tree - there's literally hundreds.0 -
I too have a sore throat but am hoping all the cod liver oil I consumed last year will fight it off. My son has a cold. You don't actually have to take down the Christmas decorations till 12th night which I think is the 6th. I am not sick of mine yet as we only managed to put them up on Christmas Eve.
I have lots of leftover beef but am sick of cold meat. Its carvery beef which was sent as a substitution to the joint I ordered from Tesco. I am going to make a lovely pie with it, as I have leftover wine and leftover chestnut mushrooms. We have leftover new potatoes and leftover brocolli to go with it.
My whole house is in a mess after Christmas. Not a clean towel anywhere, the oven is filthy, both bathrooms are sorely in need of a clean and piles of ironing to do. I even missed cleaning the cat litter tray yesterday so I have lots to do and yet I am sitting here doing nothing.
Hope you all feel better. Your throat could be thrush melly, brought on by the antibiotics. Eating some yoghurt might help if you can manage it but yes, go to the doctor. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
