I'm pleased as he has shown no interest in the dogs for a couple of months my Boo worships him so I have had to make sure he has had extra attention.

How it was working when I worked was
If he was awake he took me in otherwise he slept
He slept till 3 usually
Took dogs on grass at the front
Drink his smoothie won't eat till I get in.

Melly I hope the fact you are not online means you are going to sleep again . Try to get rest where you can love you will need all your energy at the moment . I wish I could think of a way you could get through to your husband how damaging to you both the present situation is . Only when my daughter began quite recently to tell me of her fears and be very open did it become easier to begin to get the real help she needs . Maybe it is more difficult for men to admit what they may see as weakness or failure . I will catch up with you tomorrow and hope you have a restful night x
Sybil If he has chopped everything possible how about whisking eggs or some other culinary task ? If you had a woodburner and he was older and bigger you could make him log chopper !

The only person he opened up to was the therapist he was seeing up until healthy minds didn't renew her contract in Jan leaving him absolutely screwed

Its one of the reasons I can't get him to engage I think.

Melly Just noticed you posted while I was typing . Has he discussed anything about Tuesday with you ? Will he be with you or are you going alone ? I 'll be going to bed shortly but will stay online a little longer , if I don't hear back I'll see you tomorrow .

I waited for this doc because she is fully aware of the situation and allows me to speak for him it makes it easier
What I want is for her to intervene with CMHT to try and buy another attempt.

I crossposted again ! I see where he's coming from same thing happened to dd only the counselling service was put out to a rubbish private company who seemed to be totally useless . Trust dies at that point as all the old wounds are laid bare and not dealt with .
I will leave you in peace and see you tomorrow .

Bear is happy because I have promised we will make magic cake tomorrow, which has lots of lovely whisking. This is on the strict understanding that I get no naff raff because we need to go into town and he loathes buses. Fritata is also looking likely, which is also chop heavy.

Quick one for now Melly . I have to go out for a couple of hours . I hope you both had a reasonable night . After reading your replies last night it seems it would be better for your husband to not go with you to tomorrows appointment . It would only increase the stress on you both and you need to get your point over clearly and also make her aware you are struggling yourself . I will be back in a few hours meanwhile lets be grateful for the doctors that do the sensible thing and let appointees do the explaining when the patient can't .

As you know Mel, I think that them stopping OH's therapy was incredibly damaging to him, it was horrendous that they did that. He was guaranteed to feel awful as a result. Good luck at the GP's tomorrow, I so hope that they can put something in place for him for both your sakes. I am not surprised you are feeling so drained and your weight isn't good, you are trying to carry on for two people right now. Big hugs, I wish I could help.
