:beer:Sending you cuddles, YL, I hope whatever was stressing you is in the past now xx
End of holiday blues has struck along with children and their associated MESS everywhere. DH back to work tomorrow, me Wednesday and from that point forward, all 5 children will be bossed into pulling their weight.
On the plus side, I have swapped out the despised door knobs for lever handles on 6 of the 7 doors, the latch collapsed on the kitchen door so I will have to buy a replacement before I can tackle the last one. Hands are killing me now with all the screwdriver based action but they look SO much better.
Cleaned the bathroom earlier and have tried my humble best to keep on top of the kitchen, with limited success. Our bed stripped and a large G&T spilled all over our BR carpet while remaking, major D'OH! on my part.
Just about to cook dinner and get presents wrapped and cards written for DS2's birthday tomorrow; can't quite believe my baby will be nine already :happy tears:0 -
Evening all, no indoor flying done here today save for the washing up, but I have done lots of gardening. Garden is now as I want it and planting of all veg is done.Spend less now, work less later.0

Plans were changed I am now on train on way back from Liverpool.
Waving to lots of fly ladies on the way.
Minimal flying done x0 -
Yay the wood store is finished, all the wood split and loaded in the store, we are all exhausted but it is lovely.
Mothernerd - surely your DS1 can make his own bed, my 12 year old does! oh BTW I'd have had a blue fit if my kids thought keeping pizza boxes in their rooms was acceptable behaviour.
Just doing dinner for DS3 and me, DH doing his and DS2'sand DS1 is at work so will cook his when he goes home. Then a couple of sitting down jobs. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Ah well - just reporting in!!! Went great guns on HH tidy - then more tidying rather than HHcleaning. I then went to help DH in the front garden. Followed by an hour in the front garden of the empty house next door - the one with the solid yellow dandelion lawn - accompanied by much swearing and cussing! That is about 5 years now we have done it including paying a fortune for weedkiller etc. Still not finished.
Other side dear friend and neighbour then came out to do her garden as we "shamed her into it" - so we went to help her.
Didn't fancy what we have out for tea so went to Morris for naughty lasagne and garlic bread.
My last naughty meal as also starting SW tomorrow - cant remember who it is that is also starting tomorrow but best of luck! It is ages since I last did SW.
Hoping for a good day tomorrow - but won't be flying until about 11-11:30. Catch up then.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

I wonder if they're hiding beside your chequebook, Valli?!0 -

Really impressed with how much everyone is doing!
DS1 hoovered again this morning & I blitzed kitchen while cooking roast chuck & works. Had lots of leftover cauli/brocc so will make a quick cheese sauce & pot up to take to Moomin
Then we all WUDUPA before spending time cleaning up in our orchard, weeding, sweeping, playing with the woofers & generally having a bit of fun!:j
3 loads of washing done, put out on the line, dryed & brought back in... sadly washing machine is being naughty, leaking from underneath somewhere.. last thing we need really, ahh well it could be worse, something will work out!
More weeding/sweeping followed by chicken sarneys & pink pudding.
Now to get boys ready for school & then do nowt!! :rotfl: yeah right!!!
Have a fab day tomorrow all, I'm spending time with the Moomin & taking her out plant shopping.. really looking forward to spending some quality time with her:)"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -
Quite possibly Fizz...
Been gardening this afternoon. Hydrangea now dead headed (the bloke on the radio says to leave the old ones on as frost protection), [STRIKE]lawn[/STRIKE]grass strimmed and mown. Pots watered. Hope the blueberry survives - it had really dried out  and it's a new one. Compost laid over the 'bean bed' - will dig it in when I am planting the beans.
Finished just in time to pick DD up from Morries.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
