Good morning all. Hope you all had a lovely easter.
Had a quick scan of last weeks thread, Hope you are all well and holidays were enjoyed.
Lynne I'm sorry to hear your DH has lost his job too. DH has been at home for just over a week and is driving me insane! Hense no posting (he hates computers and FB/forums so I don't get on often) I thought him being at home would mean more got done but he seems to find every excuse not to do something (the kids have had lots of time running round on the fields though). I'm struggling to get him to ring jobcentre too, Which means the kids cant go back to school on free meals until he's sorted it.
I've sent him to town for some shelves for the boys room so I will make a start on emptying it in a minute. It just needs a good sort out and old toys removing but as it's the box room there isn't much room so hoping the shelves will get the huge heap off the floor from under/around their beds.
Did really well with the list last week and will see what I can get dome today after the boys room is done.
Right better make a start. Will update when I can x

DS3 has only just gone to city to meet gf - says they are not coming back until about 6pm (warned him twice that it's Sunday service buses) so have started on the pit of despair. Going to take it in small stages.
As there is only me to feed I am using bits from the fridge (cooked leg of lamb last night but don't think they will want it tonight), so had ham and tomatoes with coleslaw. Before eating I have brought out the pizza box mountain, filled a bag with rubbish, thrown down the recycling, pulled out a sheet, underpants and all his pillows - will add the pillowcases to the wm load and peg the pillows out to freshen (may put quilts out again as well). Also managed to crawl across the bed and fully open the window - no room to walk around the bed. There's a sticky patch on the floor:eek: but not enough space to do something about it - triangle between bed, cabinet and the mattress his friend was using (only found it under pile of choc wrappers and other rubbish).
On the plus side, I don't think he has used any of the clean bedding I washed last time - pillows are the ones I gave his friend. So box of clean bedding when I get to the far side of the room.
Right will go start wm and peg on line then am going back in there - I may be some time.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
3 loads of washing done. 2 pegged out 3rd to go out in a moment. 4th load of washing just set off.
500 emails deleted. I'm aiming for 3000 by the end of the week.
DH has taken the boys to football. DD1 is working on an assignment. DD1's LBF has gone to a motor bike meet in Southend. DD2 is eating chocolate eggs. Me, I'm about to peg out that washing.....0
