We're in.. or will be when I get home .. They all had curry.. I had a Mahoosive cottage pie, all to myself!!!!! I scoffed the lot.. I didn't have dessert either.. strawberries = rash, carte D'or ice cream = yuk!!!, crème egg ice lollies = totally yuk!!!, rice krispie buns with cheap minieggs!! = sacrilege, banana flavoured chick marshmallows = utterly vomit inducing, chocolate cake = cake, just cake!, raspberry cheesecake = more rash.

Chickenpox watch is keeping a beady eye on some questionable spots on Squeak.. they are tiny, one has fluid but it might be anything or nothing at the moment, I guess we will know by the morning.


Dot and Squeak played beautifully with OH's cousins daughter today, it was very sweet.. they all had a lovely time, so it was worth me starving to death over.. not half as much fun/chaos/love as my crazy family do's but very pleasant all the same.

cuppa and bed I think.. OH has been asleep on the sofa since 9pm so I've spent my evening on here, doing no knitting!!! :eek:

Thanks Natty for running last week and Thanks Dusty for running this week's thread. I'm in for the week again please, Definitely helping me to get, and keep, a bit more organised.

We don't get the Easter bank holiday here so I'm at work BUT have got a head start on the week as done the kitchen and most of bathroom today :j

HH tidying or decluttering - need more than that - back gone doing vol jobs n gardening so it will be a very slow job!!!
Hoover and mop the worst bits

HHPaperwork/replying to emails/paying bills - much needed
Fancy more...
Give sinks and toilets a S&S
Empty all your bins - tomorrow's job

Get some hot soapy water and wash your [STRIKE]front and/[/STRIKE]or back door and the frame.
[STRIKE]Defrost the freezer[/STRIKE] - doesn't need it - almost empty!!!

I'm in as I need to get myself organised with starting my lunchtime job and an essay due in 2 weeks that needs lots of work and I'm starting slimming world.

Had to do some bathroom cleaning yesterday as after dying my hair it looked like an episode of csi in there lol

Kids still asleep :T MIL has just called from carboot, I mentioned swimfins yesterday, and she "said" to DH "help me find one for your boy" and there was one, at the very first stall! The guy said he nearly didn't bring it, as he'd been trying to sell it for ages with no joy, but something made him put it in today! Spooky! £1.50 too - they are over £20 on the website!

Did some bits yesterday.

I did loads of washing yesterday
I opened a weeks worth of post and paid my credit card bill, checked on my ISA transfer (pfft, nothing happened yet)
I also cut the legs of DD uv sunsuit thingy, 'twas riding up her botty on holiday so I'm making it into a top. It's wide enough, just body wasn't long enough but I like that it has full length sleeves.

We are going on an Easter Egg Trail today, and popping to Mr A en route as we have nothing for a picnic...

Welcome home Bossy.

Done a few bits this morning already including today's target email deletion. Sun is shining so DH can get the log store finished and we can start stacking logs this afternoon. A bit of gardening to do too.

Thank you for last week Natty and this week Dusty.

I will be in from tomorrow. We're off to watch Exeter lose and will be back later with a very disgrunted friend. Clean lodger will be dog-sitting so we'll bring him back some more Breton beer on the next trip as a thank you. He said it was the nicest beer he's ever had, so that was worthwhile. I love it when you get someone a random present and it turns out to be just be ticket.

The house is looking rather smart, thanks to this thread. I hope everyone enjoys their BH and DanceDad is well enough to go to footie.
