Oh my Lord.
It's patently clear that a career in law doesn't beckon for you, Emz11. :rotfl:
I've never read anything so ridiculous in my life.
How many times do you need to be told that this 'act' does not exist?
This is hilarious! :rotfl:
I can't wait for the link to all these 'acts that are being broken by this 'criminal' company.
Im also waiting patiently for this scanned document, the 2 friends who own the conservatory and bin washing businesscant be that up on regulations etc.0 -
shell act like they own the place when in fact they arent so as far as im concerned they couldnt give a stuff about any law so can be considered to have broken them.
they have broken the trading standards act by not displaying accurate payment information at the point of payment in a legally recognised manner. additionally they breach the health and safety law requiring workplaces to be safe by employing staff whose english is not satisfactory. they deliberately sell halal sandwiches to attract these workers.
OH MY G
You have really lost the plot0 -
I bet if the cashier posted here then his English would be far more understandable than OP's!0

Damn I should have read this thread before splashing out on two tanks full of V-power, this morning The horrific man at the counter gave me a handful of Lego Ferraris, which my friends son is very happy with.
I will not be going back, Solidarity for the Garage offended!!!!!!!0 -
fgs i have had enough of this forum you are all iidiots. i told you my mother was insulted by shell staff and yet everyone sticks up for them even though there criminals.
because of the state of the economy you should use british oil from the north sea not halal country petrol. british petrol like bp is better shown to be good for your car than eastern petrol anyway so it is no brainer.
all the fuel companies use the same crude oil, wherever its from,it is refined and the only difference is the additives used, crude oil comes from all over the world,
so whichever station you fill up in,its the same petrol and my local shell garage is great,
so there:p0 -

Was it this document?0 -
Yeah I know this is a troll.
However just as a point of interest, when I was in business I always had a box of slips and a slider machine to use just in case the payments system broke down, is this not done these days?0 -
I believe that shops can still do that if they wish but in the event of any fraudulent transactions then the retailer is obliged to cover the loss.
With chip and pin cards, the card issuer normally covers any loss.0 -
This thread is just fuelish .
It's very entertaining , though!
I thought Shell was an Anglo-Dutch firm. Anyway, it's a very big employer in Cheshire, at Ellesmere Port.
Our local Shell garage sells Welsh cakes. Are they allowed, Em? :cool:Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
