Hello! Yes we had a lovey half term thank you. Well and truly on count down now for baby 3 - 8 weeks to go!

I have been playing ostrich from the debt for a couple of weeks. Sometimes I need to step away from the boards and just have a week off from worrying about it all. We had a lovely couple of day trips which I wanted to do with DS and DD1 before I get too big.

Glad I did now because my blood tests came back as anaemic. I have been so exhausted and in need of daily naps. Hoping the iron tablets kick in soon but not looking forward to the side effects.

I have started maternity leave too...it was th right time!

Hi Gala, sorry you are feeling tired, hope the tablets help. You must be due a similar time to me, though this is my first. I'm very disorganised! Sadly my mat leave doesn't start for 6 weeks, but this was my choice I guess ;).

Wow I last update on 5th June! Guess I have been busy!

Well I actually have 16 days to go until my elective csection...will be glad to get rid of the swollen hobbit feet.

I have been doing a lot of thinking over the last 6 weeks. I continue to learn on this debt free journey that it is indeed a journey and not a race. It's more about the little things and making wise choices as well as not being so hard on myself when things don't always go according to plan.

I'm being a bit kinder to myself! Ha.

What I have started doing differently is thinking long term. I had 0 savings as everything was going to paying off debt. This was great until the freezer broke or Christmas came and then I felt completely out of control with my budget. I have now set up several different saving online accounts with the bank and I can transfer money in and out easily and make sure I am budgeting correctly!

Life is good at the moment... I know I will get there eventually but for now I want to enjoy the summer holidays with the children and become a family of 5 in under three weeks! eek! x

    Hi GaLa15!

I've been awol a while and never caught up properly with your diary. Have done and wow only 15 days to go now for you. I'm at 24 weeks pregnant and so uncomfortable I am envious! I shouldn't but I am wishing the next few months away!

I am a huge fan of online savings accounts for how you are now managing your spends. I found it such a boost to know there was money there for things coming up that didn't take away from that months pay cheque! I need to get back to that though as I have let it slide recently.

Good luck for the caesarean! Hope everything goes swimmingly!
