Also looking for some help re Tesco black friday, looking to buy the tablet with £10 off for new customers. Is it possible to transfer the cc points to my existing cc at a later date? or do I need to forfeit the points?Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

When my mum died it was manic. She died quite suddenly and we had booked a holiday abroad 10 days later. Everyone urged us to still go so we had to arrange the funeral in just 7 days. Went on holiday, which was, admittedly, a good idea but when we came back the council wanted her bungalow back within a month of her death so we had to literally throw everything into a van one weekend and (somehow) stored it all in our garage and cleaned the bungalow the following weekend.
It made it very difficult to sort through everything as it was all jumbled up and it seemed awful to have treated her belongings like that.
In fact it was a dreadful time altogether as I'd conceived on that holiday but then miscarried at 6 weeks  Was very glad to see the back of 2003.
Oh BusyL, how heartbreaking!:(
That's the 2 most devastating things that have ever happened to me, how sad all this happened to you within weeks of each other.

Tesco black Thursday was a bit lame. The items the lady had on the list were the only ones available. Cheapest flat screen tele was 200 quid. They had a few tablets down by a whole 20 quid and some irons and steam mops too. Bit of a waste of journey.. Got my self and vacuum though.
Quick question. The hoover I bought was 35 quid. I tried using 2 x 20 quid club card vouchers but the woman on the till was having none of it. I had to pay 15 quid cash along with the 20 quid club card vouchers. Is that correct? In the past any excess club card vouchers that were not used in the transaction were refunded back on to the club card. Has it now changed? So for example had she put through both vouchers like they used to them 5 quid neither of points would have gone back on to the club card. Can someone clarify please?
Not sure, will ask dd2 when she comes in but she did say that they cannot take vouchers for more than the total spend......perhaps, like the pp (which no longer auto scans when its the same date) it has been changed......dd2 did say that anything to do with vouchers etc is carefully scrutinised now and they are called in the office if they override a pp0 -
