Has anyone tried this to see if the double discount comes off?

    Tesco Finest Teroldego 75Cl

    Any 2 for £12.00
    valid until
    29/4/2014
    £7.99 (£7.99/75cl)

Where's neosi when you need him?

I noticed that wine, I started to trawl through all 768 wines last night for offers, it's odd only one on that offer.

Only other offer I saw was Lambrini and mini bottles. I hadn't finished looking as I fell asleep. :o

Even small overpayments can make a wow of a difference in years left......small steps.

    This is so true.
Years back when our business was going great I used to sling extra money at the mortgage without thinking about it. It was the best thing I ever did as when everything went belly up it turned out we'd overpaid by a few thousand and then we didn't have to pay any mortgage for the next year (this ment we didn't lose our house :j ).
I don't know if all banks work the same way but it was a god send for us as we didn't even know it existed.
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
    Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Is the curry the one where you can get 6 mains and 6 sides for about a tenner?

Yes BNI are Big Night In meals in T - 2 mains plus 2 sides. One deal matches A where the curries are £1.90 (the pp sees the BNI starter and mains as their full selling price).

Buy 3 meals plus fillers costs £18 and will give an £8 pp against M. Jalfrezi, Korma and Tikka Masala worked in one shop for me last night.

I really am going now this thread is so addictive like reading a good book;)you think I will make this the last page and you are still reading 5 pages later:eek:
  • I've reverted to paper and pen now, it doesn't matter how many times I delete and start again I still end up with a one shop list!!

I've even deleted and reinstalled the app and it still does it!
Hi, mysuperlist drives me nuts too! Try going back to my supermarket.com instead. Much simpler and you can flip basket between shops easily. I think the lists may transfer automatically between the two systems afterwards too. My mysupermarket.com page certainly has lots of my old mysuperlists in the "my lists" section.
I am not young enough to know everything.

Tesco black Thursday was a bit lame. The items the lady had on the list were the only ones available. Cheapest flat screen tele was 200 quid. They had a few tablets down by a whole 20 quid and some irons and steam mops too. Bit of a waste of journey.. Got my self and vacuum though.

Quick question. The hoover I bought was 35 quid. I tried using 2 x 20 quid club card vouchers but the woman on the till was having none of it. I had to pay 15 quid cash along with the 20 quid club card vouchers. Is that correct? In the past any excess club card vouchers that were not used in the transaction were refunded back on to the club card. Has it now changed? So for example had she put through both vouchers like they used to them 5 quid neither of points would have gone back on to the club card. Can someone clarify please?
