I'm confused with all these shops of cat food/bowls. :(If people are 'spending' roughly £7.63 and getting a £7.01 pp are they using a PP first as by my calculations that doesn't add up
The shop will cost you £7 plus 8 fillers (may only need 7 if including the bowl as one but I played safe - you need at least 10 unique grocery items for pp). You will get back a £7 pp. You cannot use that pp until tomorrow.
So technically you have spent £7 (plus fillers) but have £7.01 to spend next time. Some people conflate this and say in your example that the net cost of this shop was 62p (fillers!).
Remember you have 30 days to spend the pp on a normal shop to get your money back (or buy a T giftcard which will then last longer).

No Bissel mops that I could see just another Pentel pen set, just the one there.0 -

Never managed a Pentel pen set, always the ones with the 8 at the end of the barcode in ours. Not sure if it is extremely efficient staff or lurkers, either way it is hard work getting a bargain there :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Thank you Anon for explaining it so clearly. I used to be regular poster on here but life has taken over, got made redundant and anything like this is a great help
:ALife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Thank you darl. I am almost better now. I must have overdosed on throat sweets etc though. Hope you get some good quality rest on your days off girly.
Off to check out Black Thursday at Tesco. Will report back with findings later.

Morning all. Here's a rudey hug for those wanting one :grouphug: (back off nerfy
).
I had to drive past this morning and it's good to see plants in the window sills. It is now someone else's home. It felt ok.Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -
Bless you Tiny:AI saw your post and wondered if you had driven past the bungalow specifically or it was on you route somewhere, its just that a friend of mine seems to do the same thing but on a regular basis and I truly don't think this is a good thing(only my opinion of course) and it does seem that she has not let go and cannot move on.
We did live close and the end of her road will be passed often as I go that way to take DD3 to college, the odd occasion like this morning when I have to take Mr TS to work and when we visit family it's off one of the main routes. And you can see the bungalow on the way back home.
But there was a specific reason for me going up the road, I wanted to check she had put out her recycling bin out as it gets collected today and I had filled it.
She hadn't so I made a courtesy call to the Estate Agent as soon as I got back to ask if they would mind letting her know. I won't make a habit of actually going right past.
Seeing the plants has actually helped knowing that it is someone else's home now, I am so glad it was not bought by a property developer. I know it would still have become a home for someone eventually but this seems kind of easier on my emotions.0 -

As a few people have asked, confirmed Whiskas flavours (£3.50 each, buy 2 plus 2 bowls plus fillers)
WHISKAS POUCHES FAVOURITES ADULT 12 X 100G
WHISKAS POUCHES POULTRY SELN IN JELLY 12 X 100G
WHISKAS ADULT FISHERMAN CHOICE IN JELLY 12X100G
WHISKAS POUCH SENIOR IN JELLY 12X100G
WHISKAS POUCH SENIOR IN GRAVY 12X100G
WHISKAS POUCHES TRAD DISHES IN GRAVY 12 X 100G
WHISKAS SENIOR FISHERMAN CHOICE IN JELLY 12X100G
There may be others, seem to be most of the 12x100g boxes for £3.50 are matching vA.
If preferred, the £4 boxes including Simply ones do match but work out £1 for 2 boxes after pp (2x£4 Tv 2x£3 A).
