If your total pay on your P60 adds up to your total pay before pension contributions, then you can deduct your pension contributions.
If your gross pay is your pay after pension contributions then you can't.0 -

I renewed online using one of the forms. Phoned a few days later to make sure everything ok - told yeah the renewal had been received & was still processing. Phoned today to be told I'd renewed using the first form which was cancelled so nothing was happening. I was told it shouldn't even have let me renew using the first form. If I'd have known this, I'd have phoned in the first place to renew. So annoyed. Never had any trouble with tax credits but worried now

Hi
similar story for me. Renewed online and was told to wait the 8 weeks as they had received it.
Rang back to check last week and it couldn't go through for processing as I had omitted a zero against hubby's earnings (he made a loss). Was told this would now be processed and rang up today and told to wait until 18th August before calling back. May be being cynical but my faith in them is wavering now0 -
Hi new to here,
I have a bit of headache of a tax credits thing at the moment, last year part way through the tax yr hubby was out of work, at the time we where receiving £15.75 p/w ctc. I informed them straight away and they stopped our money?? After many calls etc they said we shouldn't have got any and that was just to keep us from hardship! Yet he stops working and I earn £900 per month they thought we didn't need anything!!
Well I rang them at the beginning of April as they advised me too to state this years earning which is £13500 well actually it will be £13489 the good old NHS pay freeze, we then got a provisional award notice for wtc and ctc. We finally received our renewal on Tuesday and I did it straight away online.
What I am wandering is I have had this provisional award since April yet no NHS exemption card will that come through now I have given the figures??
And also why does the payments not match whatsoever what I would be entitled too online? I honestly don't get it!0 -
10102 for myself and £17,775 for hubby.0
