Wow, someone has actually just finished reading all of the way through my first post..

  • Such a nice day today so I did another stint on the back jungle. Can only do more next week after garden waste bin gets emptied.

Not a huge amount else to report as ive had a pretty quiet week. Managed to get a free lunch at work so that was nice, also watched footie in pub so that was obviously less great. My local is a really nice pub, and I really dont know where all the neanderthals appear from each time there's an england game. :(

  • I guess ive been oop north too long (Im originally from da sarf), but I would now need to double my salary to have a similar standard of living anywhere near the capital. I have a friend who is paying £900 to rent a scabby room in shared housing in one of the worst areas of london, and I dont see how it can carry on in the future. What happens to the capital when all the nurses/teachers/cleaners/shop workers jack it in for a much better life elsewhere?

By pure coincidence I found this article yesterday.

  • Been neglecting this recently - apologies. Tis due to hectic time at work and it cant be helped while others are on holiday.

Anyway, just checking in to report another OP.

My achievement this month is that my official end date has dropped into 2035.

    And is I good news?
  • I wondered who would be the first to crack :rotfl:

Yes, I was pleasantly suprised and it suggests the value has gone up since I bought. I am hoping this info plus the improvements that I have been doing will help me negotiate a better LTV when I can remortgage in january.

Good result :T glad to see that your patience and hard work is starting to pay off, true reflection will show in the LTV mortgage deal you get next year but for now that is very positive :j
