Hey friends,
Another standard payment chalked off today, and an added OP of £300. Have crunched the numbers and I've reduced the daily interest by another 4p since a month ago.
The next big goal is to get balance into the 70's and hoping to achieve this in the next few months.
Also really keen to get the daily interest under a fiver.

Thanks CRV.
Apologies for the lack of activity recently, as work has been crazy busy for the past few months. Having a relaxing day today though, and am planning a couple of trips away to recharge the batteries once the weather has improved.
Due to my poor work/life balance I have spent precious little this month, so I suspect there will be a decent chunk more to OP with in a few weeks.
The other finance news is that my shares holding is down a fair bit. I suspect the markets will be volatile for a few months yet and am not doing anything just yet.

Hey Catriona,
I am not concerned in the slightest as I have an EF totally separate to what I am dabbling with in shares.
I view at it as though the money invested in shares has been spent. If I get a windfall from it then it would be fantastic. However, if all the stocks were to go bankrupt (highly unlikely) it would not impact my standard of living.
What I kind of meant by the last post was that I think the markets will be quite jumpy in 2016, and may have a little further to fall yet. I have something set aside to invest more with, but I am waiting a little longer to see which way it goes.
In other MFW news.......... I paid £200 off the mortgage :j

Hey fellow MFWers
Its a new month and I have spent some time updating the spreadsheet. Not long to go till I am out of the 80's and i'm also very close to £5 daily interest, which I think will give me a big boost.
My stocks have picked up in recent days and I am still waiting on the sidelines, but with funds ready.

Hi MC. :T for the mortgage nearly beginning with a 7!! The daily interest sounds good too! I'm holding off working out my new daily interest rate until the remortgage is officially in place... gives me something to look forward to0

Hey BW,
It does become a bit too addictive this saving money lark!!
The other day I was thinking about what I could buy with my daily interest. Now I can just about manage a couple of ales in my local pub, but not with a bag of crisps.
If it wasn't my round then I could buy a few games of pool, but would need someone to cover the deposit on the cues :rotfl:

Still plodding along here. Been very busy with work and not really spending much at the moment as I dont have much free time.
Just made a little OP to the mortgage as its the middle of month and needed to scratch an itch so to speak.
