What pets do you have?

Options
Just a little nosey post! Unfortunately I can't add pictures due to being on a work computer

I own:

A miniature schnauzer called Tess. I got her as a puppy and she will be 13 in May!

A labrador x rottweiler called Jess. I got her 18 months ago from a rescue. She is now 3. She was originally called Tess but obviously that had to be changed :D
A cat called Stanley, he's 3.

Two rabbits - Pandora and Daltry. Both rescues. Technically. Panda came from a pet shop but no-one wanted her as she is very skittish and almost un-handeable. I don't think her eyesight is great either. She is 3, but has come a long way in those 3 years. Daltry was abandoned in a local country park. I got him from the same rescue that I got Jess. Don't know what age he is.

I also have a share in a lovely Irish Draft called Luke.

Gitdog, rescue, 3 year old English bull terrier staffie cross. Would love another ebt but can't for practical reasons. When I win the lottery I'm having a houseful.

Captain Dumbass, 6 year old cocker spaniel lab cross, from Dogs Trust.

I'd love more pets but circumstances and space aren't right for more dogs and CD chases cats and small furries. When I win the lottery we'll have many dogs. And some donkeys.

A Siberian husky called Molly May Brown had her since she was a pup 4 years on the 14th. She turned 4 on March 4th. She is Daddy's princess (despite being mine) and follows him everywhere. If he tells her to do something she does it. I tell her she just ignores me and carries on  She is the dog in my Avatar

A Malmute/Sib cross called Codey Bear he will be 4 in July we rescued him as his previous owners girlfriend was scared of dogs and he thought buying her one would "cure" her :wall: He is a totally mummy's boy and very soppy despite his massive size!

    Now the kitties

Hades - she is my oldest at 7 years old nearly she is a black cat and the queen of the house. She is very aloof and fuss is on her terms but she does like to steal pillows when your trying to sleep

Megan - black and white mini tank she is nearly 4 very fluffy and a total grump (or so she makes out) we got her as a rescue her mum died giving birth to her litter after she was dumped

Sophie - ginger and white polydactyly she too is nearly 4 and always looks worried poor little thing. Another rescue she was found on the surgery steps in a box filled with rainwater and had been there all weekend. She had pneumonia but she is a tough little cookie

Lucy-Fur - my second black princess she was 3 in Jan she is an affection monster and you have to pay the Lucy toll to go up & down the stairs (a minium of one stroke and a tickle behind the ears) she was yet again another rescue found by the police when she was 6 months old with her 2 kittens (more about them in a min) in a drug den she was hours from death due to malnutrition

Abby-Gail - One of Lucy's kitten she is a little tabby with a white heart marking on her chest. She is nearly 3 and is a very demanding little monkey. She loves being under the covers with me at night and makes herself a little Abby cave between the covers as she know that's the warmest place. She loves to climb everything especially the coat hooks. We have regular arguments with her as she wants to go out in some of the worst weather

Ziva - The other one of the kittens tabby and white nearly 3 scared of her own shadow and likes to keep out of the way. Like her mum is a total attention monster and loves to lay in front of the fire

Lillith - Another black one 8 months old found in my husbands work car park with her sister. She has mainly lived with my husband up till now and I'm only just starting to get to know her. She is quite happy to sit back and let her sister do things. If her sister is ok then she joins in

Eve - Lillith's sister another black one she is a trouble maker. She leads her sister into all kind of scrapes and likes to pick on the older ones (she'll soon learn).

Well that's my hoard sorry to bore you all

Miniature Poodle called Sally-Mae (6) - she was OHs Mums dog which he got her for Christmas after she had pestered him for one for months, she sadly passed in the June of the same year and we have had Sally (known as Salsa) ever since. I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her as OH's Mum managed to spoil her rotten in 6 months - if she doesn't get her own way she pees.

Mutt otherwise known as Daisy (4) - OH was given her by his Brother who staffy had 12 pups, she is the least staffy looking staffy cross you have ever seen and is instead lurcher/collie looking.. Bit nervy but very protective of my and very loving..

A Rottweiler called Kiva (2) who is the softest most scardy dog you would ever meet. She is terrified of the hoover, the mop, the broom, the hand brush and anything that makes a loud noise. She howls when she hears sirens and thinks she can sit on my lap even though she weighs 42kg.. LOVES people and wants to meet everyone. Can get out of our garden and we don't know how - joins people walking in the fields behind our house and then takes herself back to the front gate where neighbours just let her back in. (we live in a very small village so this isn't as bad or dangerous as it sounds - plus she only walks on pavements!!)

Miss Lola the kitty (4) - grey and white, a rescue and is semi-feral although she is coming around the being an indoor car. Come summer she disappears for days at a time on hunting excursions and we can't put a collar on her as she always comes back with either a leg stuck through or it round her waist and all her fur rubbed raw..

Mr Cash - Ginger Tom! (3) Typical gingy boy - thinks he can beat everyone in the street up. Not scared of cars and likes to sit in the middle of the drive when its home time so I have to get out and pick him up. Recently had an accident and is now blind in one eye.. Still not scared of cars. Hates OH.

Mr Rogue - black Maine coon x British blue (2) and was a gift for my birthday from the breeder of my Rottie. He is so soft and lovely and I call him little prince, likes to sleep in muck and hates to have his long fur groomed. Goes into the burr-type plants in summer and ends up needing to have stuff cut out of his fur.

Mr Pagan (1) - black cat - a monster!!! Went for a holiday at my Mums and ripped all her leather dining chairs up (oops) is shifty and nervous around people.

A dwarf hamster called Rocky (1)..

An albino ferret called Pinky (4)..

A goat called Barbie (???8)- we used to have two called Barbie and Cue but Cue passed just before Christmas...

Bunch of chickens with no names as the fox seems to sense when you have named them and become attached!

All set up and ready for the arrival of pigs in a few months!! Can't wait!!

  • 3 cute gerbils :)

Peggy - a year old 3 legged gerbil who we've had since August 13, rescued because no-one wanted her. She's laid back, lazy and not very tame

Jazz and Squeaks - roughly 13 months, we've had them less than a month. They were in the rescue centre for 5 months after being abandoned :( Jazz is very tame and skittish, Squeaks is tame but wary.

    Love them all :)
