That IS unusual - I don't even know what you call it. Silver dapple? A form of liver chestnut? Chocolate palomino?

I tried googling the colour but no success, he had a white star on forehead but apart from that was totally black with a white tail. He was called Tommy, beautiful pony but very, very naughty.

He might have been a form of liver chestnut or possibly was meant to be a dun, I know you can get dun horses with silver "skunk" tails but not white all the way down.

  • A very naughty almost 8 month old black lab girl called Shadow. She is the joy/bane of my life in equal parts!

We would seriously consider another lab or a spanner in about a years time but this would be subject to finances and would be a big step to move to two dogs for us.

We have 2 cats called Mia and Jasper (Carrot).

Mia is white with black/brown splodges (tortie I think you call it), she is about 5 and will lie anywhere. She loves to get under the bed covers with me and regularly lies on her back on the floor and lets you tickle her belly for a bit.

Jasper is all black and about 3 years old. He has a little tuft of white hair on his belly close to his back legs. He loves to sit on my shoulder and nudge my ear or my chin. He will also play fetch with toys sometimes, which is a bit weird!

Two dogs here, Arran aka worzel Gummidge as he's as thick as they come, he's a sheltie and my family bought him for me after my first sheltie was killed by another dog, he's now 7 and I love him to bits. I also have Ellie who's 6, she came to me from many tears after she had been liberated from a puppy farm where her wee body had been used and abused by some git who I'd love to get my hand on . I've had Ellie for 3 years and apart from her still having a pop at the men in the family and her barking she's a brilliant wee dog.

Oscar the naughtiest Malamute, and a silver goldfish who gets a name change every other week. At the moment she's Caroline, last time she was a he called Burt. Suggestions welcome.

Oscar is one and a half, and has the most energy of anything I've ever come across. He's also extremely clever and extremely sneaky - today he taught himself to open the cleaning cupboard and chewed the handle off the mop bucket and ate all the birdseed. He also stole a whole packet of his biscuits, and pulled a bowl out of the sink and smashed it on the floor. He's also learned to open the washing machine and as soon as he hears the door unlock, he's pulling the clean stuff out and rolling around on it.

At the moment he's sleeping and so I love him again, although I daren't move in case he wakes up.
